Olivia Wilde Covers 'Allure' Magazine October 2013

Olivia Wilde graces the cover of Allure magazine’s October 2013 issue, out on newsstands on Tuesday, September 24!

Here’s what the 29-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On pleasure-free dieting: “Fear of carbs, of gluten, of everything—we’ve distanced ourselves from the beauty of food, the art of it. It makes me sad when people say, ‘Oh, I don’t eat gluten. I don’t eat cheese. I don’t eat this. So I eat cardboard.’”

On asking Jennifer Aniston for advice on dealing with a media storm: “I reached out to Jen, who has, of course, been through the wringer, and I explained the situation and I said I needed advice on how to deal with these things. She wrote me one of the most gracious, wise emails describing her journey and really wonderful words of advice about how to deal with it. And in the end, I think I would do it all again exactly the same way.”

On gaining a perspective on celebrity from her upbringing: “There was definitely a sense that no one was interesting because they were famous. They were interesting because of what they did. And that has stuck with me because when people say, ‘Oh, you’ve made it. Isn’t it great? You’re famous.’ I’m like, Ugh. That’s sort of a side effect. It’s like the side effect of a medicine: ‘You may experience anal itching and fame.’”

Some people CAN’T eat gluten because they have Celiac Disease and will get very sick if they do. It’s not some fad diet for them. Insufferable dolt.

LOL.. I think she thinks she is a bigger Star than she is. Heck does anyone consider her a Star period. I think she is talking about all the sex talk she and Jason were doing. Then they got some backlash. Aniston is in media storm she created and continues to feed; she loves the attention.

Olivia is not interesting to me nor is her relationship to what’s his name.

How famous does she think she is exactly? What media storm surrounds her? I’m so confused. Nobody cares about her. This is the most odd interview ever.

Ah, the bitching crowd is here. She is starring in 2 great movies which came out in last 30 days (Drinking Buddies and Rush), but yeah what’s the hype?….If you don’t her, why do you waste your time bitching?

She looks fantastic btw – especially the picture with E-Type jaguar is fantastic.

How ignorant!!!! Some of us can’t eat gluten or dairy! I would love to eat bread and cheese, but I would get really sick! I can’t stand uneducated people that don’t know what they are talking about.

    Pretty Ka Says:

Yes, that is very ignorant and inconsiderate of hers. There are several foods I can’t eat because I can’t digest them well; It’s so bad that it got me an autoimmune condition. We are not paranoid weirdos, we just care about our health!

    Jamie Says:

Pretty sure she’s talking about people who are able to eat them but don’t because they are scared of them or have become hypersensitive to fad dieting. Not people with medical conditions. Olivia isn’t an ******* who would talk about a large group of people like that for something they can control.

She has a natural ugly face in real life

Even if people choose not to eat gluten or dairy or whatever they’re diet is, that doesn’t always mean they are eating cardboard. Nowadays there are so many options of delicious food that aren’t strictly for those that eat without limitations. There are beautiful, artful plates of food that can be without a steak or pasta.

she looks like a poor imitation of Scarlett Johansson in that great movie “The Avengers”, the main difference is that Scarlett is a real HOT WOMAN because has a hot body, not like Olivia Wilde who has a boxy body

@too funny: You`re right, you know most people i know have no idea who is Olivia Wilde, i think Olivia is some kind of local celebrity in USA, but not in the rest of the world and how i know it ?? because i am not american, actually i have some relatives and friends who live in other countries and they dont know who she is
