Miranda Kerr: 'Romeo & Juliet' Opening for Orlando Bloom!

Miranda Kerr looks lovely on the red carpet while attending the opening night of her husband Orlando Bloom‘s play Romeo & Juliet on Thursday (September 19) at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York City.

The 30-year-old model was previously seen attending the show’s first preview performance last month. We love seeing her support Orly‘s work!

    Can’t stop laughing at the contrast between the first and second comments. OMG!

    Sam Says:

    This woman is posing all the time. Is like she is always on the red carpet. Other models don’t do that.

    @4 Says:

    Uhmmm, maybe because other models aren’t married to stars?
    Or maybe they aren’t invited?
    I guess that haters think that a wife should not support her husband?
    Silly haters.

    Today on Keeping Up With The Kerrdashians: Mr. Kerrdashian proves, once again, that he cannot act.

    “There’s a lot of other stuff — a live cellist, balloons, industrial house music, messenger bags, a real bird, a huge bell, actors running through the audience, a swing — that distract. Romeo may show up on a Triumph but the show, trying hard, unfortunately isn’t one.”

    She looks gorgeous! I’m so glad that she was able to be there for him.

    Would that Mr. Kerrdashian’s big entrance led to something interesting, but this “R & J” is a slick, weightless assemblage of modern-dress trickery…

    @the troll Says:

    Funny how you interpret the English language. You left out the part where they said that he was good in the romantic scenes. They seemed more put off by the setting on the play, and not the performances.
    But whatever. I’m sure seeing this next week. And I’m sure that I will enjoy it as much as all of the people on twitter. I’ll be having fun, while you are stuck in your sad little life where you wish bad things upon others.

    “Review: Orlando Bloom shaky in an uneven ‘Romeo and Juliet’ on Broadway”

    It just goes on and on, kids. LOL!

    @10 Says:

    Funny, but that quote seems to have come from the previous article.

    @9 Says:

    You had better see it soon because from what I have been reading this thing is gonna close early!

    LooseLipz Says:

    Sorry fans, but not only am I tired of seeing photos of her, I don’t even find her exceptionally pretty. She’s slightly cute, that’s about it. There’s nothing exotic or sexy about her.

    ok then Says:

    Variety didn’t like the staging, or the set peices. But here is what they had to say about Orlando and Condola….VARIETY, mind you….
    “Real damage is done, though, in the balcony scenes, in which the traditional Juliet balcony is replaced by a rough wooden platform that resembles a gangplank. To their great credit, Bloom and Rashad stay focused and manage to convince us that the young lovers only have eyes for each other. This Romeo and Juliet touch a lot and kiss as though they mean it. But more than passion, it’s the joyous sense of discovery that makes their love scenes so lovely”

  15. 15
    ok then Says:

    From the Newsday article linked above. But while the previous poster was trying to use it to insult Orlando, that’s not what the author was doing.
    “Bloom — more famously the elf prince and a Caribbean pirate — makes a dashing, appealing, if not exactly youthful Romeo. He has a flashy entrance in ripped jeans on a motorcycle that, ask not why, is never seen again and he catapults from a playful romantic to a doomed one with a winning grace”

  16. 16
    ok then Says:

    The New York Times thought that the play was “lopsided”, but here is what they said about Orlando…..
    “Mr. Bloom, in a first-rate Broadway debut, and the gifted Ms. Rashad exude a too-fine-for-this-world purity that makes their characters’ love feel sacred.”
    “…genuinely luminous balcony scene”
    “Mr. Bloom, famous for being handsomely heroic in the “Lord of the Rings” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchises, keeps surprising. For once, we have a Romeo who evolves substantively, from a posturing youth in love with love to a man who discovers the startling revelation of real love, with a last-act descent into bilious, bitter anger that verges on madness.”

  17. 17
    Hmmm Says:

    Funny how quickly the troll disappeared when the positive comments were posted. How despicable do you have to be when you are upset that someone didn’t fail?

  18. 18
    @17 Says:

    Yes Elena the troll is a perfect example of a bully.

    Loves to dish it out but can’t take it in return.

    But it’s what you’d expect from someone that insults not only Orlando & Miranda but also an innocent sweet child like Flynn.

    Why anyone would be so vindictive, spiteful & nasty toward such a beautiful family is beyond me.

    I can only put it down to envy & sour grapes.

    So she’s either one those Delphidiots or a fan of another model.

    Regardless of the reason it’s just childish, delusional & cringeworthy to stalk a couple she doesn’t know & never met out of petty jealousy!
