bad finale of an even worse season..It’s so sad that we had to watch such a great show take that terrible fall… I watched the finale cause I needed closure. Never thought I ‘d have to say it, but dammit, I’m glad it’s over.

Some shows were just not meant to last that long. Crap finale to cap off the last few crap seasons.

I watched the finale 3 times. I cried each time. I was surprised about the Debbie ending. I thought the ending was so sad. I didn’t think dexter would ever give up his son. That was a shocker.

I thought the season was great, much better than the 7th.

It was as bad as I thought it would be. We should feel something, but I felt nothing. The season was bad. But at least it’s over and it wasn’t a happy ending. I didn’t want a happy ending because I didn’t like Dexter anymore.

The last season was bad, but the series is good and I think it is so much better than the book. I hate the book.

And that series Ray Donovan is horrible. The idea is good, but the series is not.

jesus christ people are seriously asking for too much. stop complaining about the finale if you already claim you hate the show. you could have stopped watching after season 4 but you didn’t. the finale was done in the most appropriate way possible. i completely understand why it was done how it was, and i enjoyed watching the show. long live dexter.

The finale was a sad but beautiful wrapup. The spoiler pictures released
online 2 weeks prior to the final episode of MCH carrying JC in the sheet down to his boat definitely shouldnt’ve surfaced. It gave Deb dying and what would happen to herbody away pretty easily. I know no one had to look but I came across them by mistake. So her being dropped in the ocean wasn’t a shocked but it still managed too. Why would he dump her
in the ocean so Quinn and Batista etc.. would never know
where her body went when they went back to the hospital and to not allow
them to say goodbye or give her a funeral? Ghost Deb should fly her ass
up to Oregon and slap him. Poor Quinn! No doubt if it waa real, they wondered wtf happened to her body. So would the hospital!! lol and couldn’t Dexter take her with him atleast and buried her in Oregon so he atleast had her ‘with him’? I don’t know. Not much of a loving burial for being someone who cared so much about his sister. Geez Quinn and Batista and everyone! Unless they ‘figured’ Dexter did take her and assumed ge committ suicide with her body on his boat..that’s hopefully what they thought. If there’s ever a spin off I hope they explain the missing deb body question! JC gave an amazing performance. It was a fairly light show and the final episode suddenly made Dexter appear more like a Titanic Jack and Rose themed short version episode. I have never cried over a tv show but wow. That was the most depressing heart breaking ending for Deb. we know JC is happy how her character went out bur ouch that was hard on the heart even though it was just acting!! lol
I wish Jennifer and Michael the best. I wonder what she plans on doing next. I left twitter. She is hardly on there anyways and don’t blame her with many still seeing her as ‘Deb’ for how many more years? She should cur her hair short like in Season 3 or something to ‘ditch the Deb look’ maybe? Just kidding! But I hope she returns to the sma or big screen soon. Great actress. Great actor. Atleast we get to see MCH in a bunch of non Dexter roles soon! That will be refreshing and to him too I’m sure. No more Dexter shadow. Jennifer and Michael. I miss you two alreasy! Season 8 was slow but you bowed out with the best performance of any characters/actors on a much loved show. (I think!)
Highley doubt they read any of this stuff but just wanted to share. :)

I would have loved to see Dexter, Hannah and Harrison starting fresh somewhere else. Dexter has been a friend and a company to me for this 8 years, and despite we are talking about the portrait of a serial killer, at some point, we begin to like the character. That´s what happened to me. Somebody who had a terrible terrible traumatic story, finally has an inner purpose for life; this is a great transformation which only can take place on TV.
On the other side, both S7 and S8 have been quite confusing with some back and forth scenarios, like some ugly tango (yeah, Buenos Aires, Argentina). Nevertheless, I play in my head this alternate finale. Thank you Dexter Morgan
