Kerry Washington: 'Scandal' Season 3 Breaks Ratings Records!

Kerry Washington‘s hit series Scandal kicked off its third season last night (October 2) and it broke ratings records with the premiere episode!

Airing in the 10pm hour on ABC, the show easily won the timeslot with a 3.6 rating in the 18-49 demo and a total of 10.51 million viewers. This makes a 76% improvement over the season two premiere, which garnered a 2.1 rating in the demo. It also marks the most-watched watched episode of the series to date!
