Miley Cyrus 'SNL' Cold Open: VMAs Jokes! (WATCH VIDEO)

Miley Cyrus kicked off her episode of Saturday Night Live by appearing in the cold open, which examined what caused the end of the United States.

Kenan Thompson and Noel Wells played two homeless people reminiscing about what happened, which led to Miley‘s performance at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Miley was joined backstage at the show by “Old Miley” (being played by Vanessa Bayer), who warned her that she shouldn’t be doing what she was about to do on stage. She was then joined by Robin Thicke (played by Taran Killam) and Will Smith (played by Jay Pharaoh), who said he was looking forward to a G-rated performance he could watch with his kids.

    Everyone is funny except Miley…

  • Jerry

Not funny at all. 20 yr old Miley sounds like a woman who’s smoked and drank too much vodka for 40 years. Sad.

That Will Smith impersonation was so good!

  • x

@chelsea: I agree! Will Smith was dead on!

I am not a Miley fan, but I can appeciate people that can make fun of THEMSELVES. Not many people can do that or even have the courage to do it live. I admit that I laughed a lot. I give kudos to Miley. I even liked the ROCK version of Wrecking Ball.

“Young Miley” looked and sounded twice as old as “Old Miley”. Sad that she is already well past middle aged. She sounds like a three-pack a day granny…
