Brenton Thwaites Lands 'Gods of Egypt' Leading Role!

Brenton Thwaites is shaping up to be one of the most sought after young actors in Hollywood and now he has landed the lead role in the upcoming movie Gods of Egypt, according to Deadline.

The 24-year-old actor will be starring alongside Gerard Butler, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Geoffrey Rush in the period epic film.

Also on Brenton‘s slate of upcoming films are Maleficent with Angelina Jolie where he plays the role of Prince Phillip and The Giver with Meryl Streep, Katie Holmes, and Taylor Swift, which he is currently shooting.

    He doesn’t play Prince Charming, that’s Snow White. He play Prince Philip in Maleficent.

    @well well: Modern-day Egyptians are of Arab and Turkish descent.
    The “real” Egyptians are the ethnic Bejas. Google “Beja people”.

    ARE YOU KIDDING ME ! oh my god these damn hollywood people need to stop first they never ever ever do any films about arabs and then when they finally do like “Prince of persia” or “Lawrence of arabia” they take freaking white people ! i mean that’s just nasty ! What if i would take a white girl and paint her face just to play some black chick NO NO NO !
