Jennifer Connelly Braves Rain for 'Shelter' Stunt Work!

Jennifer Connelly holds on tight to Anthony Mackie as they hurl themselves onto the ground doing some stunt work for their film Shelter on Monday (October 7) in New York City.

The 42-year-old actress and Anthony, 35, filmed in the torrential downpour that hit the Big Apple that afternoon. Jennifer and Anthony both got soaked straight through their costumes!

Jennifer was also spotted that day arriving to the set, and getting her makeup touched up later.

Shelter, directed and written by Jennifer‘s husband Paul Bettany, follows two homeless individuals who fall in love on the streets of NYC.

    She looks like she’s about to die.
    There’s no reason for her to be this skinny! If the camera adds 10 pounds then I can’t imagine what she must look like in person. She looks horrible. She’s such a beautiful woman, I don’t understand why she’s ruining her looks this way? It’s not even necessary for the part, most homeless people are not starving they’re just crazy and incapable of taking care of themselves.
