Madonna Takes Flight After Being Banned from Alamo Cinema!

Madonna grabs her bag out of her SUV and makes her way inside JFK Airport on Monday (October 14) in New York City.

The 55-year-old entertainer stepped out solo after she was caught texting during a screening for 12 Years a Slave at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema last week. She was subsequently banned for the incident.

The Alamo founder and CEO Tim League texted about the incident, confirming Madonna‘s ban. “Until she apologizes to movie fans, Madonna is banned from watching movies @drafthouse,” he tweeted.

“Yeah, I’m serious, but I don’t think it really affects her life that much,” Tim told EW about her banning. He did add, however, that the tweet was an “offhand joke, a spur of the moment 140 characters” and was “more of a means to get the issue out there, that it is rude to text during movies.”
