Ellen Pompeo & Chris Ivery: ArcLight Movie Date!

Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery try to keep low profiles as they exit the ArcLight Cinemas after catching a movie showing on Monday evening (October 14) in Hollywood, Calif.

The 43-year-old actress recently revealed what we can expect from her Grey’s Anatomy character Dr. Meredith Grey in the upcoming episodes of the hit show.

“They’re putting her on the mommy track,” Ellen told THR during a recent visit to the show’s set. “Meredith doesn’t think she’s being supported by anybody in this episode, so she’s getting angry. This is the beginning of their break-up, where Cristina (Sandra Oh) doesn’t believe that Meredith can be the same type of surgeon because she has kids. She is really being challenged by people’s ability to believe that she can do both. She’s really taken aback by the lack of support she is getting, so it’s really making her step up her game — or leave the game.”
