'Ironside' & 'Welcome to the Family' Canceled by NBC

NBC has decided to pull the plug on their two new shows Ironside and Welcome to the Family, according to Deadline.

Ironside will air one final episode next Wednesday (October 23), while Welcome to the Family is out of the NBC line-up immediately.

Starting on Wednesday (October 30), repeats, Dateline, and specials will take up Ironside’s 10 P.M. slot until Wednesday (January 8), which will be the debut of Chicago Fire spinoff Chicago P.D.

In other news, NBC’s other new show Sean Saves The World has received an order for 4 more scripts.

    Ironside was unwatchable. Boring and predictable. Good riddance.

    Welcome to The Family should have never aired. Vapid and poorly written.

    Neither of these shows will be missed in my household. I hope NBC will consider adding something new to revive its lineup. As it stands … it’s a dying network. The CW network beat it last night.
