Renee Zellweger: New 'Bridget Jones' Book Out Now!

Renee Zellweger and her boyfriend Doyle Bramhall II leave a dermatology office together on Wednesday afternoon (October 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 44-year-old actress’ most famous role is arguably in the Bridget Jones films and now the highly anticipated third book in the series that inspired the movies has been released.

“Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” follows Bridget, now 51, a widowed mother of two after the death of Mark Darcy, who was played by Colin Fith in the movies. While the sales for the book have been great, there are no plans to make a film version yet.

“The book’s imminent publication in many territories has taken up all of Helen Fielding‘s time, and no consideration has yet been given to the film rights of ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy,’” the author’s agent told THR.

I love Colin Firth and agree with everyone else, that there is no Bridget Jones without Mark Darcy. Don’t kill him off, or you have no movie!!!
