Tightly wrapping newborns protects their heads/spines. He’s fine and I’m sure she knows what she’s doing.

    LeoLove Says:

@Chloe: Of course she knows what she is doing, its not really because of the tightly wrapping its more like it looks weird, because you think that baby cant breath like that. But these are snapshots, so of course she/the mother has everyting under control.

    DV8 Says:

That doesn’t look good for the baby at all but I’m sure she wouldn’t do that if it was bad for him.

    Family of 8s Says:

With exception of going to dr’s visit, it is recommended a child is kept indoors until at least a month old. This is so that the child is acclimated to outside womb environment considering it took 9 mos prep for the womb exit.

The month the baby is kept indoor after birth, with indoor 78 degrees temp environment, will allow child to grow up stronger, healthier and happier than those babies you see only few days old and are already out and about and sometimes barely wrapped. It is a shame to see especially those newborns not properly clothed or wrapped for warmth. Guess who will be sick and sickly, hmmm?

    Michael Says:

All right people, you’re acting ridiculous. Obviously the baby is fine if she, as the mother, has him held to her chest and is surrounded by other women who are mothers as well? Seriously people, always looking for things to criticize others for

    commonsense Says:

All you fcuking experts! Clearly she’s not harming her baby. First off, a company would not make a product that would so easily harm a child. Rest assured that product has been thoroughly tested. Second if her kid were experiencing breathing problems do you think she’d continue to hold him that way? She’s not crazy!

    Monae Says:

Umm just a question. Can the kid breathe? Like I get you want to hid him from paps but your suffocating it .

When wearing your baby in a wrap Never cover your baby’s face! Never let your baby’s chin rest on their chest!

Mothers be careful. Just because Jaime does it this way, doesn’t mean it’s correct or safe for your baby. Read the instructions for your specific wrap before using.

    b Says:

You can see the impression of his ear, so his cheek is against her chest meaning his face is being covered by the fabric. I don’t care if a company tested a product so it is safe, you don’t put fabric, even possible thin breathable fabric over a infant’s face/ mouth. I don’t understand some of these celebs who cover their child or their child’s face because they don’t want a picture taken. What’s more important, not getting a picture taken or letting your child breathe.

    Anon Says:

These slings/wraps/carriers all carry warnings that a baby’s face should not be covered. The argument that as a mother she knows what’s best for her child holds no weight when she goes against the clear safety warnings of a product. SIDS is caused by lack of oxygen. I hope this was just for a few seconds to avoid paparazzi seeing her child.

PS I too am a mother and though I don’t think I know everything, I certainly wouldn’t go against the explicit safety warnings on any product where my son’s safety is concerned.
