good actor, but why?

He’s able to play any kind of character. the only thing is that he’ll have to change again his physique in order to play the ugly but awesome singer. That’s too bad but very challenging. I’m curious to see how greatly he’ll pull it off!

Tom Hardy can play anything. I’m curious to see if I can sing and play the piano though.

ugh. Love Tom Hardy. But not as Elton.

I heard this movie will be similar to I’m Not There, where Cate Blanchett and other actors (including a black kid) played Bob Dylan, so Tom Hardy as Elton John won’t be so weird at all.

@Sarah:

I would rather it be something like that than a complete portrayal, very interesting.

CARRIE FISHER WILL BE THE BEST OPTION

He’s too hot to be playing Elton John (with all due respect to the amazing singer artist that he is :D)

Ah, i think this is very intriguing! Tom can transform himself into any character, so he will surprise us!!!

I can’t wait! Bloody sensational!
