Scandal's Katie Lowes is Fashion Fierce for 'Bello' Magazine

Katie Lowes looks super fierce in her fashion spread for Bello magazine‘s October 2013 issue.

Here is what the 32-year-old Scandal actress had to share with the mag:

On building her acting career: “For years, I had been waitressing and babysitting and catering and personal assisting, and having any side gig I could possibly find. At the same time, slowly but surely coming up the latter. Getting one line then two lines then three lines then a guest star, then a recurring.”

On her audition for Scandal: “I went in to audition for Quinn and I felt really connected to her. For a million reasons but one of them being that my middle name was Quinn. It was one of those auditions where everything just came really easily. I was able to remember the lines really easily and my acting just felt really natural and in place.”

On her character Quinn Perkins: “I feel like if she was just a regular person and didn’t work at Olivia Pope & Associates, she would have some sort of addiction problem. I think that there was something there last season when she got to control a situation and get that high. That’s a real disease that people have. When people are addicted to the high of certain situations it’s hard to get rid of.”
