'Thor: The Dark World' Wins Second Weekend Box Office!

Thor: The Dark World has scored the No. 1 spot for the second weekend in a row!

According to THR, the Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman-led sequel earned an additional $38.4 million, bringing its total to over $150 million.

The Best Man Holiday – a sequel starring Taye Tiggs, Terrence Howard, and more – surprised in second place with a $30.6 million gross.

Taking the No. 3 spot was Michael Douglas and Robert De Niro‘s Last Vegas, which made $8.9 million.

Rounding out the top five were the animated flick Free Birds and Johnny Knoxville‘s Bad Grandpa, bringing in $8.3 million and $7.7 million, respectively.

There is expected to be a big shake-up next week as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is released.
