'Aningaaq' Short Film is the 'Gravity' Spinoff - WATCH NOW!

Annigaaq, a short film that shows the other side of Sandra Bullock‘s distress call in the blockbuster film Gravity, has been released online!

The film features an Inuit fisherman who is stationed on a remote fjord in Greenland and shows what happens on the other end of the character Ryan Stone’s conversation, complete with the barking dog and a crying baby.

Jonas Cuaron, who is the son of Gravity‘s director Alfonso Cuaron, wrote the screenplay for the feature film and also wrote and directed the short film himself.

Annigaaq was originally intended to be a special feature on Gravity‘s Blu-ray release, but it is now being submitted for Oscar consideration in the live-action short category.
