Daniel Radcliffe: Don't Tweet If You Expect Privacy

Daniel Radcliffe flashes a smile as he attends the Kill Your Darlings Cut Up Art Exhibition Launch at Waterloo Station on Thursday (November 21) in London, England.

The 24-year-old actor helped to launch the art exhibition to celebrate the upcoming release of his new film directed by John Krokidas.

Daniel recently revealed that he stays off of social media to avoid the limelight.

“There’s certain things you can do to make it a lot easier on yourself,” Daniel expressed to Sky News. “I don’t have Twitter and I don’t have Facebook, and I think that makes things a lot easier because if you go on Twitter and tell everybody what you’re doing moment to moment and then claim you want a private life, then no one is going to take that request seriously.”

Absolutely correct. Leann Rimes, the Kartrashians, and others who bare their every thought and then whine for privacy when tough times hit–take note.

PREACH!!! Absolutely correct.

I’m so glad when an actual famous person has the guts to come out & say something like this. I can’t stand it when celebrities (Gwyneth, Beyonce, Kanye, Drew..etc) moan about press intrusion & then are happy to talk about their private lives when they have something to promote.

And I digress slightly but still, nothing irritates me more than celebrities that move to Los Angeles & then moan about the paparazzi being there. Leave!

I understand his point of view and it makes a lot of sense.

Just because someone is on twitter does not give the paparazzi the automatic right to stalk and harass anyone famous or not. The horrible things these people yell to get some kind of reaction from celebs are unacceptable. If this were to happen to you or I they would be in handcuffs. There shouldn’t be a double standard in the harassment laws because your famous.

He is right. I remember Kanye West loser girlfriend ranted on twitter how the paps keep follwing her( Because she has them on speed dial!) yet goes on twitter and posts nasty pics of herself. She and Kanye aren”t even half as famous as Radcliffe yet there are atleast 4-5 articles about them on every wesbite. JJ, Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Celebitchy all must be paid by Kanye and Kims PR to write about them. Ridculous!
I remeber a time when realitv stars were not around. Only people who are famous for a good reson were making headlines. Now any random loser can make a sex tape and be the headline every single day.
