He is saying that in his ‘heart I’m a theater actor’ because he does not get the good roles in movies that he was getting 5 to 10 years ago.

@dddff: The true actors (and the most talented) love to do theatre. The others couldn’t hack it.

@dddff: He gets enough good roles. He’s in Wes Anderson’s next, he was great in Dom Hemingway, he was the lead in Steven Soderbergh’s Side Effects, he was probably the best in show in Anna Karenina, Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, the Sherlock films are not the best, but financially they do well… He seems to be doing very well… He’s doing no different than he did 10 years ago, and he always seems to get career-best reviews when he’s on stage (see Anna Christie and Hamlet).

if you need a job try this site (http://gg.gg/quad). Dan does it at home and makes $17.90 hourly just sitting and typing stuff all day…No experience needed too

Jude always has appeared to me, to be from a different time era. He is so Renaissance of a person and fits that time period perfectly. I would be thrilled to see him in a theatre production some day.

Lastly, Jude is an excellent actor and has done very well in many roles in movies. No doubt about it!! Anyone that says differently, must need to revaluate their opinion, or check out all his work in film.

PEACE*LOVE

@dddff Jude joined The National Youth Music Theater when he was 14-15 years old. He has always said that theater is his first love, since that is where he began his acting career.

Although I thoroughly enjoy his movies, you really must see him on stage to fully appreciate his skill as an actor. Currently he is starring on stage in London in Henry V and in the movie Dom Hemingway…….very divergent characters indeed, and I have no doubt that he portrays both exceedingly well.

I love him in the movies, but being 60 and living on a fixed income, I cannot afford to go to plays. Once in a rare while I have been able to attend a matinee at a local repertory theater. Anyway I like popcorn.

Overrated douche! A cardboard box is better at acting than him.

I have seen jude perform in henryV.also in dom hemingwy while in London. let me tell you that he is one of the world’s greatest actors. the roles are mlles apart.. in one he is a fighting king. in the other a violent gangster. you cannot believe how brilliant these performances were. the audiences went wild for henry. I also spoke with him at the stage door what a sweet and lovely man.

Love him! Wish it would come to the U.S.
