Pregnant Kelly Clarkson Sings Christmas Song on 'Today Show'

Kelly Clarkson shares a laugh with the hosts while making an appearance on The Today Show on Tuesday morning (November 26) in New York City.

The 31-year-old pregnant singer performed her Christmas song “Underneath the Tree” and talked about expecting her first child with hubby Brandon Blackstock, which she thinks will be a girl.

“Scientifically, they say if [you get pregnant] after you ovulate, girl sperm lasts longer than boy sperm, at least that’s what my doctor told me, and I guess mine was late,” Kelly said. “It’s a gut feeling, too. Because she’s killing me, and of course it’s a girl causing the trouble.”

“We were trying to wait until the end of my first trimester … but everybody kept talking about it and I had to cancel something because I’ve been so ill. I didn’t want people to think I was canceling and I’m lazy or something, so we just told people,” Kelly added.
