Leo is believable in each role he plays. With Brad I can only see Brad and never the character he is playing. Not sure why maybe all the publicity about his personal life.

nothing has to do with personal life. Plane and simple he just is not a good actor. if one get and F great at age 50 , need to give up on acting.

Demi, I agree 100%. Leo is great but Pothead is simply terrible in everything he’s in, and he’s one of the finest examples of what the casting couch brought to movie theaters and tv screens over the last 25 years. If he were had any talent as an good actor, I’d respect him, even if he was a d*ck, case in point Sean Penn. But Pothead’s an arrogant, self-absorbed, mouf-breathing, coward, lying, cheating, insecure little man who overhypes himself and everything about his life off screen. He lives for the attention, not for the sake of his “art”. His fame really comes from his high profile relationships and being a parasitic social climber who mooched off his more successful partners. He’s never made an effort to step out of the limelight because he loves the adulation and only cares about how his public image will be affected, so he loves to be seen out and about, , hence he can’t disappear behind a role. Pitty craves the public and media’s validation on his choices, and tries to blame others for his failures; that also puts people off him.

I’ve never seen Leo do any of that, on top of his accomplishments, so it’s a no-brainer to say Leo is was always the bigger star.

Twelve Years a Slave: the astonishing book that inspired my film
In trying to create a film about slavery I barely knew where to start – until my partner, historian Bianca Stigter, uncovered a true account of slavery that blew our minds Three and a half years before finishing the production of 12 Years a Slave I was lost. I knew I wanted to tell a story about slavery, but where to start? Finally, I had the idea of a free man kidnapped into bondage, but that’s all I had. I was attracted to a story that had a main character any viewer could identify with, a free man who is captured and held against his will. For months I was trying to build a story around this beginning but not having great success until my partner Bianca Stigter, a historian, suggested that I take a look at true accounts of slavery. Within days of beginning our research, Bianca had unearthed Twelve Years a Slave, by Solomon Northup.
“I think I’ve got it,” she said. If ever there was an understatement. The book blew both our minds: the epic range, the details, the adventure, the horror, and the humanity. It read like a film script, ready to be shot. I could not believe that I had never heard of this book. It felt as important as Anne Frank’s diary, only published nearly a hundred years before.I was not alone in being unfamiliar with the book. Of all the people I spoke to not one person knew about Twelve Years a Slave. This was astonishing! An important tale told with so much heart and beauty needed to be more widely recognised. I hope my film can play a part in drawing attention to this important book of courage. Solomon’s bravery and life deserve nothing less.

New York Film Critics Live Stream: Are ’12 Years a Slave,’ ‘Gravity,’ ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ and ‘American Hustle’ Front Runners?
    • .
By Francisco Salazar | First Posted: Dec 03, 2013 12:00 AM EST
Dec. 3 the New York Film Critics Circle will announce the first critic’s awards of the year. The NYFCC are important Oscar precursors because many of the films that are awarded end up getting nominated for the Academy Awards. The society was established in 1935 and includes critics from daily newspapers, weekly newspapers, magazines and online general interest publications. Among the critics who vote are Thelma Adams from Yahoo movies, Richard Corliss from Time, David Edelstein from New York Magazine, Eric Kohn from IndieWire, and Peter Travers from The Rolling Stone.
Among the awards that will be handed out this year are Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actress, Best actor, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Supporting Actress. Recent winners include “Zero Dark Thirty” which won the Best Picture award and Kathryn Bigelow who won Best Director. The Best Actor award went to Daniel Day-Lewis for “Lincoln,” Best Actress went to Rachel Weisz for “The Deep Blue Sea” while the Best Supporting Actress Award went to Sally Field for “Lincoln.” Matthew McConaughey received the Best Supporting Actor Award for “Magic Mike” and “Bernie.”
Aforementioned the awards are good predictors of the Oscars but they can also sway away from it. Last year Weisz, McConaughey and Bigelow were not nominated at the Osars for their respective categories. This year a number of films are front runners including “12 Years a Slave,” “Gravity,” “American Hustle” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
The critics will begin to announce the awards at noon and will post them on Twitter as they are announced. For Live stream Click Here.

2013 Satellite Award Nominations Topped by ’12 Years a Slave’ with 10 Noms

Published: Monday, December 2nd 2013 at 9:02 AM
12 Years a Slave continues to be the leader in the clubhouse when it comes to nominations. After leading the Spirit Award nominations it now leads the International Press Academy’s (IPA) 2013 Satellite Award nominations with a total of ten noms, followed by American Hustle and Gravity, each with eight nominations. The top five nominees were rounded out by Rush with seven nominations and Inside Llewyn Davis and Saving Mr. Banks with six nominations each.
The Satellites, however, are an interesting bunch. As you can see there are several nominations in each category, leaving pretty much no stone unturned. I guess you could say no nomination for Octavia Spencer (Fruitvale Station) is a surprise and, in my personal opinion, with such a large field of nominees I’d like to see Joaquin Phoenix (Her) get a nomination, but that certainly isn’t going to be a film for everyone even though Arcade Fire was awarded a nomination for the film’s score.
The IPA also hands out television and video game nominees, but I haven’t listed those below. If those noms interest you, you can click here.
UPDATE: Kris Tapley at HitFix is reporting that while you’ll notice The Wolf of Wall Street among the nominees below, the IPA did not actually see the film. So, that said, this will be the last time I cover the Satellite Awards.
The 18th Annual Satellite Awards will be held on March 9, 2014.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s wine earns ‘World’s Best’ title
    Mon, Dec 02 2013 at 1:16 PM
While the accolades and reviews for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s 2012 Château Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé were strong earlier this year, its inclusion among Wine Spectator’s prestigious 100 Best Wine of 2013 list provides the fledgling brand with some serious cred in the world of viticulture.
The magazine listed the rosé at variety-best 84 – calling it: “Refined and elegant, offering pure and concentrated flavors of dried red berry, tangerine and melon. The focused finish features flint and spice notes, with a hint of cream. Drink now.”
From the beginning, Jolie and Pitt have been serious about producing a quality product from their 1,000-acre estate in Correns, France. This included partnering with longtime French winemaker Marc Perrin on the venture and investing both their time and money in the manufacturing process.
“They (the Jolie-Pitts) want to ensure they are making the best Provence wines they can,” Perrin told Decanter earlier this year. “They were present at the blending sessions this year, and are relooking at everything from the installations in the winery — where we have already switched to stainless steel tanks — to reworking the labels across the range of wines.”

The Jolie-Pitts are also eager to continue Château Miraval’s long history of sustainable viticulture. “No chemicals can be used on the grapes as these can enter the plant and end up in the wine,” the website states. “Therefore, at Miraval no herbicides, pesticides or fungicides are used, only naturally occurring compounds such as sulfates and copper sulphate.”
The couple expect to release their first white and red wine later next year. In the meantime, you can pick up a bottle of the 2012 Rosé for $24.99 here.

Allow me to drag TammySAl(groundcontrol I love that name) for a second because his lying asss needs to be exposed. This is what TammySal really thinks about Leo D
“I also agree with you that his performances are monotonous and he has a limited range. Add to that how you’re used to seeing him in the media who acknowledge his celebrity status and that is why he can no longer disappear behind a role.
I for one never thought he was a good actor to begin with, I hate his delivery and OMG- is his head f”#$%&/ huge or what? How come people think of him as sex symbol?”
And this in regards to Clooneys remarks:
“and ragging on DiCaprio and his Pussssy Posse…ha! I love him even more for that. The bobble-headed assshole has had it coming for a while”.

Angelina Jolie Co-Chairs Summit for Wartime Rape Victims
by Amanda Just December 2, 2013
Last week, UK Foreign Secretary, William Hague, announced that London would be hosting a three-day summit next year on demanding “justice and respect” for victims of rape in war zones. His co-chair will be actress, Angelina Jolie, who has been fighting against sexual violence within her role as a UN special envoy for refugees.
Representatives of 137 countries will be in attendance, all of them having signed a British-backed declaration that rape in war zones will never be overlooked or ignored for the sake of negotiating peace deals. Jolie has said, “This summit is long overdue. The goal must be an end to impunity, and justice and respect for the survivors of these horrendous crimes… We are committed to see that through no matter what it takes, and I hope other countries will take part and live up to their responsibilities.”
“We intend it to be the largest summit ever staged on this issue,” Mr. Hague said. “We want to bring the world to a point of no return, creating irreversible momentum towards ending warzone rape and sexual violence worldwide.” Hague also said that Jolie’s role in the summit is “indispensable.”
“This issue is not about politics, but about our common humanity,” Hague added. “And it is not enough to be united in condemnation of it, unless we are united in action against it.”

Angelina Jolie’s Latest Project Is Pretty Amazing
It’s not that we don’t love it when Angelina Jolie’s busy sashaying down the red carpet or making films — because, hello, have you seen how amazeballs Maleficent looks?
It’s just that we’re completely in awe of the projects she takes on when she’s not in Hollywood movie star mode. Whether it’s inspiring us with her words at the Governors Ball or crisscrossing the globe in the name of charity, the lady seriously knows how to pull at our heartstrings. If being Team Jolie is wrong, we don’t want to be right.
Naturally, her latest venture is hardly anything to sneeze at. The actress will join British Foreign Secretary William Hague to cochair a global summit on combating sexual violence in war zones. Due to take place in London next year, the summit will see representatives from 137 countries tackling issues of rape and sexual abuse in conflict zones, a cause that Jolie has long fought for as a UN special envoy for refugees.
“This summit is long overdue,” she explained during a press conference last Thursday. “The goal must be an end to impunity, and justice and respect for the survivors of these horrendous crime. We are committed to see that through no matter what it takes, and I hope other countries will take part and live up to their responsibilities.”
Kudos to Angelina Jolie and Hague for taking on such an important crusade. We’re truly impressed.

Inspirational decision: Pasco woman has breast, ovaries removed
    By Tyler Richardson, Tri-City HeraldNovember 30, 2013

It didn’t take long for Barb May to realize what she had to do when a genetic test showed it was almost certain she would develop breast cancer during her lifetime. The Pasco woman’s mother and grandmother are breast cancer survivors. She has seen the toll that years of battling the deadly disease can take on a woman’s body and mind.
May, 41, wanted to be around to see her two teenagers grow up. She wanted to able to hike with her husband and lead an active lifestyle. The test revealed May had around a 90 percent chance of getting breast cancer by her 70th birthday. She had a 50 percent chance of getting it within the next 10 years and a more than a 40 percent chance of getting ovarian cancer. To reduce the risk of cancer, May decided to have surgery to remove her breasts and ovaries.”You just feel like it’s a death sentence,” May said. “I felt so powerless.” May’s decision came about a year before actress Angelina Jolie brought risk-reducing surgeries into the spotlight with the announcement she had a double mastectomy.
Angelina Jolie’s column in the New York Times inspired other women to get tested and take action, May said. While Jolie’s announcement didn’t reinforce her decision, May remembers when she heard the actress’s news. “I think I cried the day I heard she was coming out about it,” she said. “I believe every woman should have the opportunity to know what choices they have.”
May’s journey began in spring 2012 when her doctor recommended her to Sarah Hall, a genetic counselor at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. Her family history showed cancer on both her maternal and paternal side.Hall screened May for a test — which can cost between $3,000 to $4,000 and was covered by her family’s insurance provider — to see if she had a gene mutation that increases a person’s risk for cancer. The red flags in May’s family history qualified her for the test, Hall said. The multiple generations of women on May’s maternal side with breast cancer and the age at which they got it at worried Hall.”We looked at the family history, and I was definitely concerned there was inherent risk for breast cancer on her mother’s side,” Hall said.
May’s grandmother fought breast cancer twice, and her mother spent two years fighting the disease with chemotherapy.May’s fears were confirmed when the test came back positive for the BRCA2 gene, a mutation that increases the risk of breast and ovarian cancer.May had a few choices following the positive test result, she said. She could take a chemotherapy pill for five years, get more thorough screenings on a regular basis or undergo the surgeries.May went to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, and doctors there examined her and provided more information about the different options she had.
“The Seattle trip was a confirmation,” she said. “Nothing against the doctors here, but we needed that confirmation. The doctors were saying the same thing.”Visiting doctors in Seattle only shored up the decision May had been leaning toward since her results came back positive, she said. Though a lot of people, including her husband and friends, were skeptical, May decided she wanted to go through with the surgeries to remove her breasts and ovaries.A few weeks after her trip to Seattle, a gynecologist from the Cancer Care Alliance called and said there were concerns with an ultrasound May had while in Seattle. The doctor recommended that if May was going to go through with getting her ovaries removed, she should come in as soon as possible to have a hysterectomy as well.
Within weeks, May, who works for Washington River Protection Solutions, was in Seattle to have the hysterectomy, she said.”It happened pretty quickly,” she said. “I had to trust they knew what was best.”The surgery — which took away the possibility of May having any more children — also forced her body into medical menopause, she said. It took her six weeks to recover. Then she went back to Seattle for the double mastectomy. The surgery took more than four hours and dramatically changed the way her body looked.”They took everything under the collarbone and scraped it off,” she said. A plastic surgeon performed a reconstruction surgery the same day of the mastectomy, May said. When May woke up, she was shocked at how different her body looked.
Though May had mentally prepared herself, the crumpled skin around her chest left her questioning if she had made the right choice, she said. She spent the next six weeks recovering. The following months were spent reconstructing her chest, May said. Her husband added saline into her skin to help stretch the skin to prepare for more reconstructive surgery.
As the recovery moved along, May began to feel more confident about her body and her decision, she said. In April, she got breast implants and soon will be done with her reconstructive surgery. “It was more about getting to the point of being able to accept who you are as a person,” she said. As May recovered, she looked for online support groups to help her cope with her new body, she said. She stumbled upon a woman’s Facebook page who had the same surgeries. The woman posted pictures of herself in a bikini contest, and May was inspired.
May began working out soon after the double mastectomy to give her the confidence to pursue the active lifestyle she wanted. She began training at the gym six days a week, eating healthier and running. Within months, May dropped her body fat from about 21 percent to 12 percent and was on her way to getting the body she always had desired. Now, May is a self-described health nut who proudly shows off before and after pictures of herself. She recently entered a body-building contest — where she had to wear a bikini — and won “most inspirational.”"I can put on a mean sports bra or Victoria’s Secret bra and look better than I did when I was 22,” she said. May’s husband of five years, Randy May, has watched his wife go through the remarkable transformation during past the past year and a half. The whole family has followed her lead and taken a healthier approach to life.
“She is physically healthier today than she has ever been,” he said. “She looks better today than she did before the surgery, better emotionally and spiritually.”May’s decision to get tested and go through with the risk-reducing surgeries has prepared her 15-year-old daughter for the reality that she, too, could have the BRCA2 gene. Ashley May was scared for her mom at first, though the whole process has left her with a better understanding of her family history and what it could mean for her, she said. Ashley, a sophomore at Delta High School in Richland, plans to get the genetic test once she turns 21. If Ashley does have the gene mutation, the first thing she will do is talk to her mother to decide on the best decision, she said. Rather than living her teenage years in fear of one day having a mastectomy, Ashley wants to learn as much as she can about the BRCA2 gene.”It’s scary,” she said. “But I am curious about it. I want to know how it works and how it gets passed down.
If I have it, I want to find a way I can prevent my children from getting it.”Sitting recently in a Starbucks in Richland, Barb May talked about how she wants women to hear her story to hopefully be inspired to take control of their lives. She wore in workout clothes and running shoes as she talked about the rollercoaster of emotions the surgery has caused.
“When you feel good about yourself, you feel empowered. You feel invincible,” she said. “And, honestly, it’s awesome.”

    Good morning J-P fans.
@Rose, about the Metro-North train, they think the driver was doing seventy or more mile in a thirty-five zone at a dangerous corner. The weather was clear so he can’t blame that for the crash.

Pitt has splashed out $4 million on a spitfire plane.
    Tuesday December 3, 2013

The actor, 49, is fascinated with World War II since working on his latest movie Fury and has bought one of the fighter aircraft which was commonly used by the Royal Air Force during the battle, which took place between 1939 and 1945.
“Brad, who has done everything from sleep in the trenches to learn to drive a tank for the film, has now invested in one of the iconic machines,” a source said.
Brad will get lessons on how to fly the plane at Boultbee Flying Academy in Oxford where students are taught how to operate the Spitfire safely.

lol-loon, you really are a laugh a minute when you switch to this alias. I don’t need to convince you that Clooney and especially Leo are the kind of movie stars Pothead wishes he could be. Feel free to check their solid contributions to the film industry, critical and finacial successes, filmography, a solid box office record with movies that actually break even with them being in the lead role and without any need for special categories either.

Clooney may be an Oscar darling, but both men are liked and respected by their peers an audiences. Neither is so desperate to dye their hair to cling on to their your. Neither use their personal life to draw attention from the media when promoting a movie, or use their exes to justify their flaws. Suffice it to say, they’re not the ones who are remembered to this day as Gwyneth’s ex fiancee, or Jen’s ex husband. Still trying to fool into thinking that Pitty is a bigger star than any A lister? Bless your trolling heart. XD

And of course the pinay loons are especially agitated about the comments on Ho’s weight… they idolize Ho and are trying to erases their ethnic features to look like her. And yes she does have mental problems that lead her to an eating disorder, and booze and drugs don’t help either.

I don’t really care what loons need to be convinced, everybody agrees that her weight is unhealthy, and that’s just one of many reasons why she’s not a positive role model to women and her daughters, in particular.

  • Ⱦamsin

Again lol/lurking-loon, it’s your HOR GODDESS who is into SCAT play. If you want to share your fetish why don’t you look for a way to contact her?

It’s particularly hilarious how you accuse others of keeping aliases. Sorry to burst your bubble idiot, I don’t need any other screen name to get my point across, but you do! :D

  • Wonderbust

TammySAl has no job and has been exposed multiple times. Can anyone take this loser seriously when he is bashing Leo all over the web but then comes here to praise him, puhleez.

  • anustin

bahahahaa……fanistons are so jealous of our anjie.directing huge amount of money!

good morning all joliepitt on board!

  • Rose

@Wonderbust: Good morning WB. You have to remember tamshitt is a crazy person. The pos is a mad man. Right now this pos is delusional after being up all night hallucinating. I told you before tamshitt is bipolar, it will lie, steal and deny, deny deny when it is caught and called out. Whenever anyone calls out tamshitt on his lying he always deny. He’s a coward who has a big dirty mouth behind the screen of his filthy computer. This pos will never take responsibility for all the lying it does, the pos is like a school yard bully. If he ever meets Brad or Angelina in the flesh he would s h I t t his dirty drawers.
Wonderbust, remember we had the date, time and thread number when
Tamshitt threatened Angelina to stab her 109x to kill her? When it was
exposed the pos denied it was the one who posted the threat. That’s
why I don’t read it’s drivel, it is nothing but a bully and a coward behind a computer. Wonderbust have a great day.

lolwut? What is going on in the stalking troll’s head to disrupt the threads with remarks on posters it claims to hate, while at the same time telling every one else to ignore said poster? It wears its desperation on its trolling sleeves, LOL, and has become the gift that keeps on giving with its outlandish but hysterical made up stories. It really has nothing else going on in its life but trying to “expose” someone it doesn’t know, for no reason.

This is one special troll though, as it originally tried to pass for a Brand loon but only posts about them when I call it out on it. I own the silly troll and she can’t even bring herself to deny it! It’s no wonder some of the other loons think we’re the same person. ROTFLMAO!

  • Ⱦamsin

Oh and here comes pedo-loon Rosiepoo, who once called Knox a stud and lusted for Maddox’s abs, getting all sanctimonious all of a sudden on posting the same old rehashed accusation. In real life, this stupid cow would probably left off the hook if I took her to court over her ridiculous claims. The jury would simply see her for the batsh+t insane person she is, take pity on her, and would sent her back to the mental institution where she came from. How funny to think that what all the bashing and lying she’s done so far is supposed to be on behalf of Pitty and Ho. She will rot in that mental institution and they will never ever thank her for all the craziness she’s spread on their behalf.

How can one live with yourself when you know the two most important people in your life absolutely hate the living crap out of you? That’s my question to all loons. :D

@Susan: Good morning my dear friend. how are you my dear. Susan, it’s beautiful here this morning so I’m going out as soon as I post this reply to you. You know we have to take the Good days and use them for shopping, lol. Susan, omg, that Metro North Train was going 82 miles in a 30 mile curb. That engineer must have been sleeping. There is no excuse if it’s human error. Susan I see the murderer is still here before the fans spewing hate I’m sure because that’s all it talks hate. It must be so hard to be on hate alert at all times, whenever it’s not sleeping it’s trolling and having delusional thoughts about people out of it’s league and will never know. Life sucks for tamshitt because Brad and Angelina haunts all it’s waking hours. Susan, I have to run my dear.

@Phool, good morning Sis, how are you my dear. Thanks for all the news you brought over this morning. Got to run my friend. See you later.

Your life must suck, when the only attention you can get is abuse on the Internet.
And no way in hell, you have a job, spamming 24/7. Have you ever considered getting a Priest to hold a Seance for you? because the Demons are keeping you awake.
The Hallucinogens that you are taking, are not going to get you Brad, because every time you close your eyes you see Angie and think she is stopping you from getting your dearest wish. Stick to your low rent type.

To be honest i want my idol jennifer aniston to be like angelina jolie. She IS beautiful and AND perfect face and most important she have brad pitt in her life and will be forever THE love of his life. I am so sad that my idol jennifer aniston will always be alone for the rest of her life especially now that justine leave her. So sad to know that my idol slept with many men after braD. She is like a dog that whoever wants to touch her, she is willing to give her flesh…that is why i am so envy with angelina for my idol jennifer. We all know she will never find a man who would take her seriously, she is very old now. SAD

Angie looks lovely. Looks like the Australian heat is doing her good. She looks like she’s getting a gorgeous tan.

@’Be a stick’ – that is soo corny, even for a troll

  • Truth Hurts You

What a collection of idiots you all are. Angelina Jolie stole somebody’s husband. No wonder she has to travel the world to prove to people she’s a good person. She may say she cares about others, but that clearly wasn’t evidenced in her actions which in end uprooted somebody else’s life. The assembly line of compliments on this thread proves that nobody considers this hypocrisy. I doubt any of you graduated high school or even know what that word means. Maybe if you did, you wouldn’t be pining over pictures of celebrities on the internet. Some people were made for the comments section because they’re such unimpressive human beings. What else are they going to do but relish over someone else’s life?

LOL. Now, Oldie, you know Tampon doesn’t know what “new material” means. She went out and bought 10 yards of red crushed velvet with black sequins. It’ll make a lovely shroud for her dead body because she’s going to kill herself tripping over all the lies she tells on this site.
