Paul Walker Death: Police Dismiss Drag Racing Reports

Though there have been reports that Paul Walker may have been involved in a drag race prior to the car crash that took his life, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s department says that they have not received any eyewitness reports of the kind, according to The Wrap.

While there have not been any eyewitnesses that have come forward reporting drag racing at the scene, the police are not ruling that out as a factor of the crash, in addition to the possibility of a mechanical malfunction.

The Sheriff’s department said eyewitnesses claim the Porsche Carrera GT car Paul and his friend Roger Rodas were riding in was driving at a high rate of speed, but that it was traveling alone. It will likely take a while to determine the cause of the crash as it will require time to reconstruct the severely damaged vehicle.

Fire is an horrific way to die. Too bad Rodas thought of himself as a ‘world-class’ driver, seems he was an arrogant rich guy showing off in a car he had no business driving.
