Vin Diesel Reacts to Paul Walker's Death with Touching Tribute

Vin Diesel has officially paid tribute to his late Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker with a touching message on his Facebook page.

Pablo, I wish you could see the world right now… and the profound impact, your full life has had on it, on Us… on me…” the 46-year-old actor wrote on his page. “I will always love you Brian, as the brother you were… on and off screen.”

Vin also included a quote from Thomas Campbell that read, “To live in the hearts we leave behind, is not to die.” In addition, he changed his cover photo on his page to one of Paul and their leading ladies Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez.

There has been an Instagram post from a fake Vin page that has been floating around for the past couple days, but it was not real, his rep confirms to JustJared.com.

FYI: Brian is the name of Paul‘s character from the Fast & Furious film series.

Don’t drive recklessly , still be alive

Kinda weird that Vin Diesel used the characters name when writing about the death of a real person he wants us to believe he was close too.

# 3

that fake instagram has been around for a long time, but as of today, its been shut down

@allison:

huh? Pablo is spanish for Paul. Paul Walker

# 5

He wasn’t driving. They were only goiing 40-45 mph not exactly reckless driving.

# 6

@paul: Yeah, but then he wrote: “I will always love you Brian” – Brian is Paul’s character in Fast and Furious.

# 7

Why are you LOSERS on JJ so intent on picking apart and criticizing the touching words said by people who “actually” knew Paul Walker? You’re extremely childish and immature. LOSERS!!!

@Sarah:

Doesn’t matter what name Vin used, he probably was thinking of the fans.

@SHINE: They weren’t recklessly driving. There was a professional driver behind the wheel, and the car malfunctioned.

@allison: He used the name Brian for the fans of the franchise I guess. Precisely to make it even more touching. Real fans of the fast and furious franchise know him better by that name. It’s what made him…. I think it makes it even more emotional and shows that their brotherhood was indeed so very strong. They were like family from that film franchise.

@SHINE:

The car malfunction. Why don’t you wait before you judge or say something stupid. Let ALL the information be gathered and results finalized before you open your trap.

@allison:

And how do you know they weren’t? He used both Paul’s name and Paul’s name in movies. When someone who loves the Lord of the Ring franchise see Orlando Bloom, they refer to him as ‘Legolas’. That’s what Vin did. The fans will always remember Paul as Brian from the movies. Rest in Peace Paul/Brian.

@SHINE:

I completely agree. People are blatantly overlooking the fact that these guys were speeding on a PUBLIC road, endangering other peoples lives also, and just because his face we’re making allowances for his actions. What if they’d killed an innocent pedestrian, or another driver? THAT would have been tragic. You live and die by your own actions.

@Camden @Shine

We get it, and for that simple mistake, the both paid the ultimate price in a horrific way, with the lives. What more do both of you want? No one is trying to hide the fact that yes, speed is a factor, though, not yet confirmed. But to continue on with this takes us no where. Those who are left behind have to live knowing all of this. Have a bit of compassions and tact, not for Paul or Roger, but at least for their families.

As far as the Brian comment, I just read a interview that Paul gave 5 years ago about how is Brian more of the time then Paul. Maybe there was an inside joke they had about calling him Brian. None of us know because we didn’t know them. So stop your bitching.
