Emilia Clarke and Brie Larson are reportedly frontrunners for the main female role of Sarah Connor in the highly anticipated upcoming movie Terminator 5, Deadline reports.

The director of the film, Alan Taylor, has worked with Emilia before, as he has directed Game of Thrones. Emilia, reportedly, has the edge.

Both of the ladies have gone through screen tests for the producers.

Original Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning to the franchise in the title role. Nothing is known about the plot, but there are many theories running wild about what viewers can expect.
