Nelson Mandela Dead at 95: Revolutionary Passes After Illness

Nelson Mandela, the famous former South African President who battled apartheid has passed away at the age of 95, Deadline reports.

The revolutionary’s health has been the subject of media coverage after being hospitalized back in June for a lung infection.

The publication reports that members of Nelson‘s family began gathering at his deathbed today.

Nelson‘s life has been documented by many movies, including Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, which is the most recent. The movie just premiered today in London. It stars Idris Elba in the title role.

Our thoughts go out to Nelson‘s loved ones during this time.

    The world lost an amazing leader today. Nelson Mandela was a wonderful example of peace, love and light amid times of trial, oppression and violence. May God bless him and his family.

    “No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background or his religion. People learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” – Nelson Mandela

    Anybody who can be imprisoned for 27 years only to forgive his captors and invite them to tea upon release has a stronger character than I do. RIP, Nelson Mandela.

    @les:

    No, Les, u really dont have idea who Mandela really was. Ure just another brainwashed moron. Communist, murderer, terrorist, thug, genocidal maniac, this is what Mandela really was. Welcome to the real world. Tragic when terrorists are considered “freedom fighters” and gullible idiots do not ever even bother to think. Definitely u havent ever heard about the genocide against the white South African ppl.

    On 31 January 1985, the State President of South Africa, Pieter W. Botha, speaking in Parliament, offered Mandela his freedom on condition that he “unconditionally rejected violence as a political weapon”. Mandela rejected the offer. The rest is cretin propaganda which will be repeated over and over these days in the Zio-owned media.

    No.1; Congratulations… You started off this new JJ thread about Mandela with Marxism’s annual May Day date of 5:01.

    No.17; I know exactly who Man-dela was. Who was kept in cell number 666, and died on the last day of Hanukkah.

  • Kristina Hoksa

    He was a Marxist who advocated genocide against all white people. His violent Marxist group of thugs also killed many black South Africans. While he may seem heroic in some way, he was also a very violent and bad man. He didn’t serve that 27 year prison sentence for nothing.

  • Rosa

    @sad:

    Amen! Amen!!

    Rest in peace Mandela. Hope you’re dancing your dance in heaven. Dance Your Dance among the clouds. Thanks for visiting Earth and making it a better place.

  • RIP Madiba

    @Kristina Hoksa: & @xyz so I see white people get mad when black people treat them like they got treated from white people for decades. How surprising. Mandela was a HERO he helped the BLACK SOUTH AFRICAN people to get their well deserved freedom. He helped to free them from oppression that was established by WHITE FASCISTS, like you two.

  • lowe

    @xyz:

    yeah keep tellin that to yourself

  • lowe

    @Kristina Hoksa:
    you mean like how white people in south africa wanted all blacks to die off

    ok

  • lisa

    one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter

    Marxist thug. Called for the genocide of all whites. His gang, the ANC, killed hundreds of innocent people. The guy is a scary paradigm.

    Mandela was/is that little prophetic black pill in 1970′s iconic generational M*A*S*H movie. Keep your eyes on North Korea.
