how is justin timberlake not nominated for song or album of the year with the top selling album of the year?

  4. 4
    . Says:

I haven’t listened fully listened to “The 20/20 Experience”, but how Taylor Swift’s “Red” album was nominated for the second year in a row, but Justin Timberlake wasn’t recognized for his two albums doesn’t make sense to me.

    kary Says:

It pissed me out when some website writes “see all nom here” and they just put like 3 categories.

    Guest Says:

    mmull5 Says:

Most of these nominations are a freaking joke, the only one worthy is James Blake. I won’t be watching, Southeastern by Jason Isbell should have been up for best country album.

  17. 17
    Sweetness Says:

These noms were clearly thrown together for album of the year to allow it be a lock for Taylor Swift. I am not a huge music followers but who is familiar with her endless syrupy songs and the other albums have not sold millions across middle America..So indeed this is a set up for her to win album of the year.

As for Roar by Katy Perry…Are you kidding me..Why not nominate Justin Bieber of Selena Gomez whose songs are more popular than Katy Perry’s?
Again another way to set up a win for Katy Perry by putting in other less played and familiar songs.. The grammys are becoming MTV light..
BTW..did Miley Cyrus have some songs that were MORE popular worldwide??

    hanna Says:

The Grammys are a joke now! Why is taylor even nominated? Especially in country – I listened to Red and it’s mostly pop. The only one I personally agree with is Kendrick but I haven’t listened to every other nominees music yet.

  19. 19
    Avril Says:

Guys the fact that some of you are jealous of Taylor doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve to be nominated.
A joke? you know what the joke is? Blurred Lines being nominated.

  20. 20
    Avril Says:

@.: This is the first time RED is nominated. Gosh you’re assuming something that is not even true just to hate on her.

  21. 21
    rouge Says:

@anna: I totally agree with you

  22. 22
    Avril Says:

@anna: So… the Grammys are becoming a commertial thing just because you’re sick of Taylor??? mmm That doesn’t make sense. They’re not being commertial at all, if they were they would nominate all those commertial things like 1D, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, etc and they didn’t, so thanks God they’re not commertial at all.
PS: It IS a country album, you should listen to the whole album.

  23. 23
    . Says:

@Avril: Don’t get me wrong, I thought a lot of the RED album was great. And yes, I was mistaken about the actual album being nominated. When I wrote the comment, I had a flash back to last year’s Grammy Nominations, the release of RED, as well as other award shows where Taylor was nominated for both “Album of the Year” and “Best Country Album.” I meant no hate by my remark, the force that drives her over others is what mystifies me (no, illuminati obsessors, this is not your cue to enter.).

  24. 24
    . Says:

@Lydia: look again. Try “BEST POP SOLO PERFORMANCE.”

  25. 25
    Louise Says:

Who cares about the nominees. KEITH URBAN looked drop-dead gorgeous. That is one handsome, totally sexy man. Not to mention his beyond talent. So anxious for American Idol to watch Keith Urban. Watch out, Nicole, there are a gazillion female Keith Urban fans!! :)
