Her voice is amazing.. The track has a lot going on. I don’t think it needs all of the extra effects, her voice is amazing on its own.

  • Marianne

Its a bit too over-produced but overall I like it.

  • orteco

I’m a bit disappointed. Lea has a beautiful voice, but this track is just way too over produced. Also, is anyone else totally getting 80s vibes from this song?

  • so good

I loved the lyrics and her voice is amazing, wish her the best

  • CJ

Nothing special here, just like a song you’ll here on the radio but from a mediocre singer instead. I’m disappointed, I expected something like a big time ballad instead with that “Wow Factor.” The song is kind of crappie

  • J

Love it! Great first single and I’m sure the rest of the album will be even better.

  • Dani

I’ve always been a fan of Lea’s and she’s grown so much since her early days on broadway and glee. Before, she sounded very theatrical and “broadway” but this song proves that she can take a song and actually give it meaning with her vocals rather than other bubble gum pop stars who owe it to auto tune for making their voices sound decent. Lea is truly talented and deserves way more props for this song, It sounds like she found her “voice” and her hardwork on this album is obvious. Congrats Lea! I am rooting for you always :)

  • Gunny

I love Lea’s ballads, but this is a very catchy and meaningful song. I think it’s a well written song about getting up when it’s easier to hide away. This might be a great song for people suffering from depression. I am so proud of Lea.

  • happy

I’m happy for her, the song is beautiful and she is a talented girl, kudos to her for not choosing a “sexy” route that is so commom now

  • Anna

    Is this a joke?

  • Hmmm

Not what I was expecting. But she sounds glorious and it’s a nice enough song. Definitely buying and looking forward to hearing more from her album.

I would agree about the song being a tad overproduced but this happened with her covers on Glee and, as always, Lea’s voice still sounds amazing- and after her performance on Ellen this week I’m sure it’ll have more people hooked. She’s a lovely girl- so courageous and talented. :)

  • Shannon

I think it says Break down not Break it down. Like she was breaking down. I love the song. It is very powerful and her voice is amazing.

  • Isablella

I like it, but it sounds like she has a Canadian accent or something..? Doesn’t really sound like her, but it’s okay!

  • Fercat

It’s okay, but doesn’t need repeating.

  • leelee

I actually like the song but the way she pronounces “cannonball” makes me cringe.

  • towanda

    nothing speacial

  • Meria

Is she serious? This song is terrible. Also, why is she pronouncing “Cannonball” like she is the Queen? Bad Bad Bad

  • poo

    more poop for the masses

  • NE1

    I like it :-)

  • Taylor

    I love it Lea….Great Job :)

  • Ford

Sounds a bit dated and over produced.

  • Sophia

Oh god this is so bad and embarrassing. Why does she pronounce her words like the people listening are retarded or something? Horrible. This hype will die down in a week.

  • re

    it’s Rianah meets miley cyrus-
    expected something better from her

  • talia

@Sophia: i’m sure you pronounce certain words in an unusual way and nobody has corrected you or complained about it.

  • Cg

Love her, but this song is meh. I’m not feeling it one bit. I hope the other songs on her album are better because this song is disappointing =\
