    Wow, first Peter O’Toole and now Joan Fontaine – sad. She was a great actress, and the younger sister of Olivia de Havilland, who played Melanie in “Gone With the Wind.” Olivia, at 97, is still around, but there are so few Hollywood legends left; what a shame.

  • Sayer

    Her sister, Olivia De Haviland will be next. They lived very long lives, those two.

  • Thoughts

    I bet Olivia’s happy, they never got along. Karma’s funny.

    @carly:

    I wonder who is next. These things always happen in 3s.

  • wow

    Olivia will be happy she outlived her. They had one of the biggest feuds in Hollywood history.

    That’s so sad! First Peter O’Toole, now Joan..

  • Drats

    That’s right. Olivia De Havilland is one of the few actors who were in Gone with the Wind who is still alive.

    So sad…What is happening with all these deaths?
