American Idol's Candice Glover Releases First Music Video!

Check out the premiere of Candice Glover’s first ever music video for her brand new single “Cried”!

The 24-year-old singer was the winner of this year’s twelfth season of American Idol and she is currently working on her debut album Music Speaks.

Candice recently spoke with Centric TV to give her advice to people who don’t feel confident in themselves.

“Get in front of the mirror and talk to yourself and tell yourself, ‘I Am Beautiful’,” Candice said. “That was actually my first song and I really love the words to that song because it encourages a lot of people to feel beautiful. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.”

congrats to her @ 12/19/2013 at 6:43 pm

I don’t watch any of those types of shows, but just caught her on “Live with Kelly and Michael” and had to listen. Wow! She has a beautiful, powerful voice without adding all the bells and whistles. I loved her singing and didn’t know she won American Idol. Hoping and praying that she is someone many women can look up to, someone without a lot of personal drama, because I think she can be very successful in the business

I just want to cry. What does the baby mean in the video? She cries like a baby or the baby cries as much as her?

# 3

I find the video to be kind of cheesy and, well, cheap looking. But, I like the song…surprisingly. It has an old school feeling to it. So, maybe her CD will be decent.

Gorgeous voice! Disgusting video.

Her voice is amazing, she is beautiful! The video however, is awful.

# 6

The whole song sounds like she got something caught in the wringer. Too much screeching

Her voice is so powerful, well-controlled and amazing! I hope they give her some better material and produce better videos so that Candice’s career has a shot. I want to see her do well. She’s so talented she deserves it.

I love the video and Candace Glover. She’s a wonderful singer and deservingly won American Idol. Regarding the video, the concept of what was happening to make the ladies cry (an abusive man) is very real in today’s world. This video definitely has a strong message. So many women are abused, and instead of getting out of the situation, they stay, and just cry! So sad!

I’m tired of videos that degrade me. That’s not who I am or who I see for the most part. That’s powerful, not this video.

That’s who they want us to think we are. Don’t mimic! Watch Cotton Watts!

It wasn’t that long ago. 1931
