Katie Couric's Talk Show Officially Canceled After 2 Seasons

Katie Couric‘s daytime talk show Katie has been officially canceled after two seasons on the air.

“While production will continue on Katie through June 2014, we’ve mutually agreed that there will not be a third season of the show. We’re very proud of everyone’s contributions to making Katie the #1 new syndicated talk show of 2012-2013,” the distributor Disney/ABC and Katie said in a joint statement (via THR), “and we look forward to the rest of the season.”

The news was expected after Katie decided to leave ABC News and head to Yahoo as a global anchor and interview host for the online platform.
