JK Rowling Bringing 'Harry Potter' Stage Play to Life!

Great news for all Harry Potter fans out there: author JK Rowling has announced there will be a stage play of the beloved book set to open in London’s West End!

The play will “explore the previously untold story of Harry’s early years as an orphan and outcast,” the 48-year-old author said in a statement (via MTV).

JK will act as a co-producer for the show alongside theater veterans Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender. She will also reportedly work alongside a playwright, who will pen the script.

The play is expected to hit the stage sometime within the next two years.
