Zoe Saldana on Her Breast Obsession: I'd Buy a Pair Before I Die

Zoe Saldana looks casual and chic on the cover of Lucky magazine’s February 2014 issue, on newsstands January 1.

Here’s what the 35-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On her body image and men: “You always want what you don’t have. My whole life I’ve been obsessed with breasts. I love them. I don’t like fake things, but I wouldn’t mind buying myself a pair before I die. When I hear men says, ‘I don’t want droopy breasts, I think, I’m sorry, you’re not really a man. A man likes a woman as she is. You know when you meet a real man from the way he talks about a woman. You just go, ‘Wow, you’re a man’.”

On regrets: “I can give two sh*ts about what somebody thought I looked like. At the moment I conceived wearing an outfit, I had a thousand reasons. And now that it’s done, and I’m getting feedback that it’s not positive, I’m going to regret it? I take responsibility for my actions, whether the outcome is positive or negative.”

On her clothing choices affecting her personality: “I like looking strong. I don’t need someone to open the door for me. I can open a jar! For some reason, dressing very delicately brings out a fragility that compels people to help you and, I don’t like it.”

@glittyglam You’re telling her to calm down? You’re the one swearing at a celebrity you’ve never met. You need to calm down. Women aren’t fragile little creatures waiting for a strong man to come open the door for them. Her statement was spot on. Get the F out if you don’t like it.

@Yes: if someone opens the door for me doesn’t mean I’m fragile. People can be nice to each other and you can open the door for a MAN OR WOMAN, doesn’t matter. You get the f*ck outta here if you don’t like what I have to say. : ) I couldn’t give a fck if she’s a celebrity or Suzie from down the street….
I like how she said she likes “looking strong” which suggest that she really isn’t strong in real life and very insecure. So looking “strong” is wearing pants?!? LOL You should be comfortable in your own skin and wear whatever the fck you like whether its dresses or pants. Its on the INSIDE not what you wear on the outside. Bye B*tch!! Go shave your p.s.s.y!!!

@glittyglam wow you’re literally psycho. You sound ghetto as hell too.

I’m a big fan of Zoe’s. And I love her stylist’s fashion sense. While I appreciate her attitude regarding empowering women, I don’t agree that having a door opened for you signifies the fragility or vulnerability of a woman. I believe if a man opens a door for a woman, his momma raised him right.

I like her. She’s not always right but she’s usually honest.

YOU need to calm down. She sounds like she just said that off the cuff, BUT did not mean it literally.

Dear, take it easy. She sounds like she was figuratively speaking, NOT literally. It was most likely off the cuff.

its nice to hear a small breasted celebrity’s opinion on getting implants, at least she’s honest which is a breath of fresh air from some overrated actresses that say that they don’t want to have the body of a prepubescent boy when in reality, there’s women that have no control over their body type and didn’t end up with big breasts. zoe is stunning regardless of breast size.

If she doesn’t need a guy to do things for her, then why has her husband been spotted on more than one occasion holding her purse?

So for her being polite is a synonim of weakness??? LOL

I don’t like her in interviews. I noticed her interviews are always filled with “I”. I like her in movies, the few I have watched.

Why is Zoe always trying to act tough? What is wrong with a man opening a door?

BUY A BRAIN TOO AND MAYBE SOME TALENT

@Yes:

THANK GOD THERE ARENT

FEMALE EMPOWERING? I DOUBT U UNDERSTAND UR OWN WORDS….

I totally agree with her all the way!!!!

oh the vacuous words of the talentless & the wannabe… gaaaaaaaaag.

“When I hear a woman say, ‘I don’t want a small *****, I think, I’m sorry, you’re not really a woman. A woman likes a man as he is. You know when you meet a real woman from the way she talks about a man. You just go, ‘Wow, you’re a woman’.”

Cool stuff I found here and really impressed with the post here.

Zoe is a class act and real….she tells it like it is and is honest….beautiful, chic and down to earth….rare, among these actresses. Even if I don’t agree she gives an amazing argument of the other side. I think she is a star,….beautiful, and real…a breath of fresh air…you go girl and just tell it like it is since you never hurt anyone with your words of honesty.
