Anna Kendrick Performs at Kennedy Center Honors 2013 (Video)

Anna Kendrick is red hot while hitting the stage at the 2013 Kennedy Center Honors earlier this month to perform in a tribute to the legendary actress Shirley MacLaine.

The 28-year-old actress performed the song “It’s Not Where You Start, It’s Where You Finish” from the Broadway show Seesaw and then joined Broadway babes Sutton Foster, Patina Miller, and Karen Olivo on “Lord Help Us, We Love Her.”

If you didn’t know, Shirley started her career on Broadway before being discovered on the stage and transitioning into film!

I was really disappointed in the tribute to one of my favorite people Shirley MacLaine. She was a great broadway dancer so where were the dancers in this tribute. The girl singers were weak and they needed to have some of the dancers do routines that Shirley did so well. They could have started with a dance ensemble doing her discovery song “I’ve Got Steam Heat” and ended with “If They Could See Me Now”. I as a viewer could have done a better job than what was presented. I really feel sorry for Shirley.
