Homeland's Rupert Friend Replaces Paul Walker in 'Agent 47'

Homeland actor Rupert Friend has been chosen to replace the late Paul Walker as the leading man assassin in his upcoming film Agent 47.

The film is a sequel to the 2007 Hitman movie starring Timothy Olyphant and will be directed by Aleksander Bach, Variety reports.

Plot details about the script are being kept under wraps. Paul was announced as the leading hitman role back in February of last year by Deadline, and it was reported that he would have to shave his head for the part. The character is based off of a video game persona.

No other details have been made available.
