The 2014 Golden Globe Awards reached a big milestone last night after being watched by 20.9 million people, bringing the show its highest viewership in ten years!

The telecast, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for the second year in a row, was up 6% in total viewers from last year and it is the top-rated awards show on a major network since last year’s Academy Awards.

Also, big news for NBC: Excluding sports, the network hit a ten-year high in ratings and viewers for the time slot. We bet they are excited that they secured Tina and Amy to host next year’s show already!

BORING! Too much hype as per usual. The jks were worse than last yrs. I only came to see Leo win thats it the rest I don’t want to talk about! Jlaw shouldn’t have won, so overrated. Hopefully Ellen puts on a better show for the Oscars! RICKY GERVAIS 2K15!

It had so many views because Leo was nominated.
Now the Oscars. If they are fair enough they will give him the statue if they don’t, he will be used as a marketing tool to get viewers by being just nominated.
