Idris Elba & Pregnant Girlfriend Naiyana Garth - Golden Globes 2014

Idris Elba and his pregnant girlfriend Naiyana Garth attend The Weinstein Company & Netflix’s After Party following the 2014 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 12) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 41-year-old actor was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his work in the movie Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.

Idris was up against 12 Years a Slave‘s Chiwetel Ejiofor, Dallas Buyers Club‘s Matthew McConaughey, Captain Phillips‘ Tom Hanks, and All is Lost‘s Robert Redford. The award ultimately went to Matthew.

“Tonight isn’t about winning, it’s about the recognition of a winner. Nelson Mandela. Never forget,” Idris tweeted.
