Adele Exarchopoulos - Critics' Choice Movie Awards 2014

Adele Exarchopoulos shows off her trophy in the press room at the 2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hanger on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 20-year-old French actress won the award for Best Young Actor/Actress for her work in the movie Blue Is the Warmest Color, which also took home the prize for Best Foreign Language Film.

During her acceptance speech, Adele remarked that she unfortunately won’t be able to have a drink to celebrate her win this evening. Lol!

FYI: Adele is wearing a Louis Vuitton dress.

I like the look….well done for a fun statement..

I can’t believe she won for that crap performance!
She is the french Kristen Stewart!
The girl is bland, inexpressive and can’t keep her mouth closed through the whole movie! and no, it has nothing to do with the character, she is inexpressive in every movie she does! the spaghetti that appeared on the film is more expressive than her!

@Sarah: you do know this is critics choice award, not Teen choice? and you compared her performance with kristen stewart? you must be genius about film. FAILED!!!!!

@living in a box: Are you her PR?
Adele is a terrible actress since she was a kid and is not getting any better! Only hipsters thinks she can act because she made an awful movie with lesbian s.ex scenes.
And even Jennifer Lawrence has a critics choice award, it doesn’t mean anything and is not so different of a teen choice award!

Please…I think she deserves this award. “Crap perfomance”? This movie isn’t just about sex, and if you only saw that….

@Chris: am i her PR? i am cinephile. don’t know what that means, please do google it. blue is the warmest color have 90% in rotten tomatoes, 8.1 in Imdb. still think this is crap movie. she gave raw performance. you claimed critics choice is no better than teen choice. wow!!! these people spend most of their entire live learning and understanding film,watching film, discus films, talk film, compared to mindless teens that only listen to taylor swift. i never said jennifer lawrence is bad actress, i only said emmanuelle riva deserve oscar than her. go watch a disney channel kid.

@Sarah:

how many movies has she done? I thought she was a debutante

# 8

I loved her performance, it was the first time that I watched her work and I think she was great

@living in a box: I am cinephile. S.hit performance.

Adele looks pretty good here. I usually think she looks messy at events.

Why do these actresses wear these expensive dresses from rich fashion designers? They are so indulgent and narcissistic in my view. Why can’t they wear ordinary dresses?

I just loathe these actresses.

@living in a box: Your moniker “living in a box” really suits your ignorance! “Your not a cinephile because you didn’t like this crappy film, I’m gonna cry” lol
I love when people believe these awards are some testity of talent! In this same award, they nominated Scarlett Johansson’s voice for best supporting actress… Yeah, this is a very serious award…
This film is exactly what critics love: boring movie, “controversial”, too long and with no plot.
@Alexa: “This movie isn’t just about sex” – Right! the sex is the only reason of the fame of this movie! there’s no love history in this, only sex, annoying characters, people eating spaghetti, terrible acting… and terrible performed sex scenes. Nobody would care about this movie without sex scenes, and not even gay people liked those ridiculous scenes, even the author of the comics which the movie is based hated it.
This is like Lars von Trier’s sh!tty films: people will talk about it for a while because of the “polemic” and it will be forgotten very soon. Well, the hype around this movie it’s already gone by now.
