Chiwetel Ejiofor & Forest Whitaker - Critics' Choice Awards 2014

Chiwetel Ejiofor and Forest Whitaker attend the 2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hanger on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica, Calif.

During the show, Forest was presented the Joel Siegel Award for his work with his charity the Whitaker Peace and Development Initiative, which is dedicated to helping people affected by violence regardless of age, gender, nationality or faith.

Chiwetel was nominated for Best Actor for his work in the movie 12 Years a Slave, but he lost to Dallas Buyers Club‘s Matthew McConaughey.
