Miles Teller: Dan Aykroyd in Emile Hirsch's John Belushi Biopic!

Miles Teller is set to play the role of comedian Dan Aykroyd in an upcoming movie based on the life of his The Blues Brothers co-star John Belushi.

The news was announced by Emile Hirsch, who will be starring in the upcoming film.

“A shout-out to Miles Teller!” Emile reportedly said at a Sundance party (via THR). “We’re going to be working together soon. He’s playing Dan Aykroyd in the Belushi movie.”

Miles‘ rep has said that he has not accepted the offer yet though and he will make up his mind after Sundance and other promo obligations die down.

Aykroyd and Belushi were best freinds and frequent collaborators, starring together on Saturday Night Live in the 1970s and then creating The Blues Brothers together.
