Oscar will go to 12, I think. Congrats to both films.

  • okayy

congrats for both but for tyas more

  • Nightwish

Gravity, the most overrated film of 2013. Full beneficiary of the hollywood pump machine lol

  • Ava

Ahah Brad Pitt must be , sh*t , they’ve been predicting the acting guilds , SAG was going to Hustle, producing PGA 12years and Directing guilds DGA to Gravilty, that’s why he flow in to collect his award.. And it went to a tie and he had to get it from Ben Affleck ahah.

  • Nick

How did Gravity not win , it’s a cinematic achievement , then to have the movie gross 700 million world wide , without any Super Hero’s , a women lead and barely any dialogue .
What was the risk in 12 years, throwing a few dollars and making a movie that before even showing one scene critics would be raving. it make less then 15 million international gross.

  • Tommy

International markets now make up 60 % of Hollywood revenues , how can Gravity not win Best Picture, a movie that buys world audiences into the legitimacy of the Oscar’s and deserves to win irrespective of being a blockbuster .
A original movie that hasn’t been made before. The rest of the world will just pass off 12years as America’s usual obsession with racial politics especially since no cares to see the movie.

  • Sasha

For the oscars I’m thinking best director to Cuaron and best film to 12 Years a Slave

  • Tom

@sasha , hope not 12years is pretty average film , that’s McQueen glorified the violence play on sympathy and then push social message, which he and supports have been doing the whole awards season .

  • costume

Enough with the slave movies. Enough with the civil rights movies. D a m n ! Come up with something different already. I’m so sick and tired of ol’ Mister Charlie vs the slave negro. Please…we get it!
