Anne Hathaway: Near Drowning Stories Were False!

Anne Hathaway is classy in black while attending The Variety Studio: Sundance Edition on Day 4 of the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on Tuesday (January 21) in Park City, Ut.

The 31-year-old actress was joined by her Song One co-star Mary Steenburgen and director Kate Barker-Froyland.

The day before, Anne donned a trendy suit while attending the premiere for Song One with her husband Adam Shulman.

“I’m fine. … I really do appreciate everybody’s concern but that was a picture that had a false story attached to it. The real story is not as interesting,” Anne shared to Huffington Post about reports that she almost drowned during her Hawaiian vacation.

They were false, huh? Guess the photos of her looking terrified and being rescued by a surfer were fake, too? Pfft.

Yes @Ellie they were false, the paps took photos of her swimming and the press made up a story from them. She never looked like she was in danger. And there were no photos of any surfer actually rescuing her.
