Justin Bieber Leaves Jail, Waves to Fans After Arrest

Justin Bieber sits atop his SUV after leaving jail on Thursday (January 23) in Miami, Fla.

The 19-year-old entertainer, who waved to his fans outside of the prison, was released on bail after being arrested early in the morning for DUI, resisting arrest without violence, drag racing and driving on an expired license. He admitted to police that he drank and did drugs that evening.

Justin appeared in court earlier in the day, where he showed off his tattooed arms, and received a bail sentencing of $2,500.

It always amazes my how no one from America ever visits JustJared.com. Americans never, ever come to this site. That always makes me wonder.

I’ve never been a fan of his music but I us to respect him and what he did for charities and he looked to be great with children but now it’s just sad. He’s a giant douche and he can do whatever he wants in private but when he’s putting other people in danger by driving drunk, that’s when I and I’m sure millions of others get pissed. I blame him and the adults around him who just watched him get out of control. I hope he gets made an example of and he straightens up. I’m not really holding my breath though.

@Lighthouse:
WTH? How do you know that?

His fans actually went there and sang his song and formed a heart. What kind of a parent will drive their kid to a jail so she can stand outside and cry her little heart out for an idol who is clearly a bad influence or allow their kid to drive to a jail for that same reason…

Now he is a real gangsta lol

Uhmmmm, lots of Americans on this site.
Don’t know where you came up with that bit of nonsense.
He needs to be sent to prison, and have a cell mate that will teach him what ‘tough’ really means.

I’m surprised the police allowed him to climb up on top of that vehicle, on police property. This almost makes the police look like fools and makes his offenses a joke.

He is kidding? smiling, waving?

This little puke, I mean PUNK, was STREET racing. DRAG racing is conducted on a DRAG strip and does not endanger others. TAKE TO THE DRAG STRIP, PEOPLE!

@Rae: I thought it was only Americans here actually, I didn’t even think this site was available in other places. huh, I guess you learn something new everyday.
Re: beibs, yeah what are you thinking dude? he’s making a mockery out of the arrest and police. he really thinks he’s invincible, doesn’t he?

Ah, how sweet. Miami through a parade in his honor. Its a jail, not prison, Jared. His dad did close off the streets, so that he could drag race in peace. Give his woefully ignorant azz some credit. He should be guiding him, not teaching him to break the law. Does he want his son to end up in a bad way.

Dear Son;
Love the hilarious Cable Guy monk look.
Of course, the only reason why God had you busted in tax-free Florida, of all places, is because that is where the two witnesses in the Bible are now hanging out most of the time.

Shame, they would have loved him in prison.

I am not defending Justin for his actions. What he did was wrong, BUT, what is the drinking age in Miami, New York, Los Angeles. Underage celebrities are photographed drinking and partying in nightclubs in these cities, and nothing is done to the proprietors of the establishments. It might help a bit if the law was enforced in these establishments. Money talks, and the clubs want the money and publicity. We are all to blame.

When I heard about this arrest a song from Cat Stevens comes to mind that says “Oh very young What will you leave us this time
You’re only dancing on this earth For a short while.”

The legal drinking age in the US is 21, no matter where you are.
And just because others have gotten away with underage drinking doesn’t mean that it is ok. And the HUGE difference here is that those celebs weren’t STUPID enough to not only drink and drive, but to drink AND street race.
This isn’t anyone’s fault but Bieber’s. He made the choice. Now he has to pay for it. He’s just lucky that he didn’t kill someone.
@14
Common citizens can’t just close off a street because they want to break the law. The streets belong to the city, not Bieber.
All he had to do was to rent and actual drag strip if he wanted to race.
Such a little moron.

I can’t believe his stupid groupies are supporting him. Like, seriously. He’s praised for getting arrested!?!? WHERE THE HELL IS THAT WORLD GOING!
