Directors Guild Awards Winners List 2014
It was a night to celebrate the best work by the directors in Hollywood at the 2014 Directors Guild of America Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Saturday (January 25) in Century City, Calif.
The big winner of the night was Alfonso Cuaron for his groundbreaking work on his movie Gravity.
The five nominees in the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Motion Pictures category were Alfonso, Paul Greengrass for Captain Phillips, Steve McQueen for 12 Years a Slave, David O. Russell for American Hustle, and Martin Scorsese for The Wolf of Wall Street.
Awards were also handed out for documentary filmmakers and the directors of various television genres.
