Is she singing live?

So overrated.

Like the song but are all New Zealanders this weird?!!!

lip syncing fail

amazing
so glad she won

@Jay: We ain’t like that, she does her own thing , her way. On the plus side, she must be doing something right, if the haters have time to comment.

when I first heard this song on the radio I got happy because I thought it was a new song by Sky Ferreira and Sky is AMAZING.
Check out SKy Ferreira’s songs “you’re not the one” ” lost in my bedroom” she has a beautiful voice, amazing songs and none of the hype and famewhoring of this chick.

I’m not sure why you hate her. Is it because she’s not American or cause she doesn’t sing pop?

you can’t lip sync on the grammy’s. They are the rules. You can have a special effects or harmonizing back up track. Many use vocoders now so they sound good on TV.

She can actually sing which is why she won. She is also a good writer and she is only 17. Her mother is a famous poet. I can do without all the jerky movements, I think its distracting from her performance.

Oh and she did get a standing ovation.

She’s different and unique. I really don’t understand this American obsession with cookie cutter singers who all sound like. Katy Perry is generally atrocious, I don’t hear anyone complaining about her.

Tedious.

I thought she looked beautiful and performed great. She’s not like anyone else and you can tell she is trying to feel like music. She’s awkward and weird, we can definitely tell, but we can also tell that she is not one of those washed up pop stars with rehearse choreography and lip singing. I thought she did absolutely amazing! But then again, like her, I’m considered that awkward and weird girl! Lol! And I love her music a lot.

My attention span is short…my boredom level of those with really nothing to be said, is high. I was mesmerized by a performance that made me crave more…. tantalizingly dark and mysterious I believed the story she told. I felt it… the song flowed like a river…but all we are seeing is the surface….. there is much more if you look beneath its surface. For those of you looking or should I say listening. Lets listen and not just look. On another angle…….. its entertainment. Like it or love it…. If not……find or make your own. Peace……
