Boooo, nooo Dior and Jennifer Lawrence she needs another fashion designer but for 15 million she is willing to wear there trashbags type dresses for the money.

  • toby

So she will be wearing ugly desses for next 3 years.

  • LaCroix

so many better designers ..& she chooses Dior? She has become a greedy money hunger fame w***e!

  • Cate

They are not a good match but I guess for the $$$$$ Jennifer is getting and they exposure they receive for the partnership they will keep going

Can Dior at least vary the sillouhettes they dress her in? don;t want three more years of her in strapless dresses.

  • susuan23

Jennifer is going with the offer. You would do the same thing if someone offered you 15 million for 3 years, she is no fool.

  • towanda

wauv this is really sad. Ok she gains 15 million dollar but they wear her just ridiculously. I really miss her first hunger games tour

  • Lydia

LOL at the bitter betties. She’ll have more money than all of you will ever have in your lifetimes combined.

  • LaCroix

^ you can’t really say anything or you are labeled a hater? Srsly. she’s in a position to do something great & is she? Not involved with any charities, or doing anything positive with her money. so yeah she’s greedy.

  • Sim

@LaCroix: I agree with you! There are MANY better actors in the business that isn’t involved with any deals & they could be but chose to stay true to being “actors” .. greedy is the appropriate word for her.

  • Emma

@Lydia: Are you so certain of that? LOL.

She is becoming more and more overexposed and people aren’t stupid. Just admit it, she’s vain and money hungry. I don’t believe the crap she keeps telling people and how afraid she’s becoming overexposed. Looks like to me she’s a hypocrite and wants more exposure.

  • sid

lets hope Dior designs something better in those 3 years, cause so far the only decent dress has been the one she wore to the SAGs, other than that they’re all strapless and have the same horrible bridal sillouhette.

  • Deborah

You’d have to admit that the dresses Jennifer has worn sure are memorable. 15 Million!

  • Ana

If you dont know, shut up, she donates money to a charity every time she has a movie premiere. Read more, judge less.

  • booo

Waiting for her hype to end, guess ill have to wait 3 yrs after the hunger games are over! Hopefully someone new and talented actually comes by then

Shes ugly, shed never be able to sell me anythin. It pays to have Jewish connections in Hollywood.

  • Alaia

Raf Simons is not a bad designer at all; in fact he is fantastic. It seems to strange to me that people are calling his clothes ugly. The problem is Jennifer Lawrence, for the most part, doesn’t suit his aesthetic. (Leelee Sobieski looks great in his clothes.) She has had some great moments wearing Dior, but there have been a lot of bad moments that almost outweigh the good.

This is what happens when most actors get greedy: logic goes out of the window. But, really, it’s not the end of the world. She doesn’t care much about fashion so it’s an easy payday for her: wear the clothes, do some ads and get millions. If she did care about fashion, she’d probably move on to another brand like Blake Lively does rather sticking with the same one.

  • Gretchen

She looks terrible in most outfits she wears regardless of whether or not it’s Dior because she has terrible sense of fashion and doesn’t know how to dress for her body type, so she might as well be making a ridiculous amount of money while doing it

  • Cate

@LaCroix: Uh…I’m not the biggest JLAW fan but she is involved with lots of charity work especially in her local area.

  • JJ

smart girl! that’s definitely a lot of money :D

  • essie

Dior hasn’t been the same since they kicked out Galliano..

  • caro

    @essie: +462

  • LaCroix

@Cate: OR perhaps you should really learn how JLaw’s foundation is run by a Component Fund. She actually does NOT donate any money to her foundation. Its a foundation run by exempt assets from the Internal Revenue Service.. man ppl really are blind when it comes to this chick.

  • bad news

  • smh

that was a bad choice. she clearly only cares about being financially secure instead of what she wears, she’s never been a fashionista but if she only had half a brain to know that she does not fit with dior’s brand, she would’ve been smart enough to cut the deal off so she can have alot more flexibility on what she can wear to events instead of keeping on wearing dior over and over again which has already gotten tiresome. and it doesnt help that raf hasn’t had one dior collection that could be compared to the genius of galliano.

  • Norah

Other articles on the web say she’s getting 20 million for 3 years.

PR people are all over the place, disseminating false information to promote their client. The average fan is fairly gullible when it comes to their fave.

  • Living in a box

I believe we already talk about this, this is a dream of every single actress in Hollywood. to become a face or spokeperson for certain product. especially a well known product. Audrey Tatou did it, Nicole Kidman did it,
Emma Watson did it, even Ryan Reynolds did it. of course Jennifer and Dior combination seem odds but Jennifer is a household name.

  • Lisa

@Living in a box: Jennifer has been with Dior for well over a year now, so it doesn’t seem too odd of a pairing or even surprising. Jennifers dresses have been a huge topic and gained a lot of media attention. Jennifer has worn Dior to premieres, award shows & on talk shows.

  • mimi

why the hatred? she seems enjoying her fame and she’s very cool about it. no one rush her to get her first oscar when she’s 22, but she did it anyway, because of that she’s overrated?

jennifer is a brilliant example how to play Hollywood life for healthy life and down to earth life style.
    that’s why everyone loves her.

  • courtney

If I was famous I would choose Dolce&Gabbana or Ralph Lauren…nothing less!

  • essie

I think it’s more of Dior needing Jennifer to stay relevant… Dior has lost their lustre

  • meh

@courtney: ralph lauren or calvin klein would have been perfect for jen tbh, she’s looked the best in either one of those designers. dior isn’t the same anymore without galliano, people were left with high expectations after his departure but gayten and simons have fallen short and they’ve downplayed their “abstract” designs by hiring award winning/nominated actresses to make the brand look good (natalie, marion, jen, and mila).

  • Bebe

@LaCroix: Bitch please, let’s act like you would turn down 15 million dollars.

  • Eric

At five million a year, you’d do the same thing. Thanks for the pettiness.

  • On it part 4

    easily 3MM year

  • On it part 4

    or 20MM

  • AlexanderTG

Her KGB masters will be most displeased.

  • carmen

It’s a win-win situation. Dior gets publicity for their clothes and she gets paid. It’s something called business. Their talent doesn’t make you doubt them but most of them are celebrities who want money and media doesn’t help in announcing their earnings. If she pays taxes, it shouldn’t really matter. Who watches and pays for her films? Retweets or reposts all the ‘funny’ things she says or does? It’s the very same people who mock her who have realized that too much attention makes a person a monster of their own doing. I doubt that she has more control over what people say about her than the people in this post.

  • Nickie

She insulted Dior last year saying ” Oh they photoshopped my pics, see how bad they are” Then why be the face of a brand of anthing? Any brand is going to phototshop pics. Dior has some of the most ungrateful and most mouthy people they have do endorsed. Natalie Portman has also trashed Dior too but then why is she the face of the brand? I guess money is the end all and be all to these celebs.
Seriously she got Jon Gallino fired. I think Portman should have been fired for being so ungrateful and bratty.

  • debbie

Let’s see. I can wear any dress I want and get paid nothing. Or I can wear whatever Dior tells me to and get $15 million. Sounds like a no-brainer to me. Nobody’s going to like her more or less because of what she wears. Meryl Streep & Julia Roberts were the worst dressed at the Globes but they’re still the most successful actresses out there–Meryl for her awards & Julia for her history at the box office.
