Shakira & Rihanna: 'Can't Remember to Forget You' Video Premiere - WATCH NOW!

Check out the premiere of Shakira and Rihanna‘s brand new music video for their latest song “Can’t Remember to Forget You”!

“The #CantRememberToForgetYou video, ft @Rihanna, premieres via @VEVO TONIGHT! Get ready…” Shakira wrote on her Twitter account earlier in the day.

Rihanna chatted with E! News this week about how she has some body image issues like all women.

“I do pick on my body,” Rihanna said. “It’s a thing that women do. We walk in front of the mirror and we look at our butt. Is it getting bigger today? Ew. It’s still flat.”

WHAT DO YOU THINK of the music video for Shakira and Rihanna’s new song?

    I loved it!

  • corrs

All I see are as*es and provocative moves. Its all about how sexy themselves are. Shakira looks so much like in the “she wolf” video.

  • Steph

Shakira can stillll work it! Sexy without being slutty! Hot video, miley should take lessons

  • Ray

So pretty much the same song she’s done over the past few years just w diff lyrics… How about a bit of variety shakira. Dios mio!!

  • sleep

    Yeah they are bu*tt ugly!!!

  • Meg

Shakira is gorgeous so I don’t know what “sleep” is talking about. I’ve been listening to Shakira for more than a decade and there’s nothing new here as far as her dancing style, song style, etc. But, yeah, Shakira has been doing the same style of song, dance moves, random instrument playing, etc. in her music videos for a long time and sometimes it’s repetitive, sometimes it’s sexy but most of all..it’s just always been her style. i’ve never found anything sk_nky about it, i mean..she’s a belly dancer after all and there’s never been a secret about that. however, somehow when she’s doing all of her usual things alongside Rihanna, she actually came off tacky for the first time to me. Rihanna looks like a sl*tty idiot and the fact that Shakira was part of it just made this one of the only videos by Shak that I dislike. and WTF was up with that cigar bit and rubbing on each other? Don’t stoop to that level because you think that’s what works in American Shak, please don’t. I also don’t love the song. I think the versus are cool but the chorus sucks and with the exception of one line Rihanna sings, I don’t like her involvement with the song at all.

  • sleep

@Meg: I dont see her much belly dancing here. I agree tha Shakira is talented but as soon as she makes a nice song she comes up with a skancky video.

  • srsly

reminds me more of a mariah carey music video tbh

  • Monae

Okay anywayssssss away from these useless comments. This video is beautiful! I love the way they both look the red lipstick the cigars the heels & outfits. I’m in love ! Good job ladies. I’m surprised Jared didn’t put this at the top with the top stories. I mean you put that stupid & forced Miley at the top. This video is actually good. Ugh don’t get it!

  • Dana K

The song is so like Shakira and nothing on Rihanna. They both pretty in that video but so much boring. Boring video. Rihanna vanished and lost in song and in video(i like her more than Shakira)

  • desiree

i’d really like to see shakira go down a couple shades down with the blonde, i feel like it will complement her much better if she was a light brunette, went back to her original dark brown hair, or did dirty blonde. i always felt this shade of blonde washed her out but i know american record execs persuaded her to dye her hair from black to blonde to make her look more “americanized” but she never looked bad as a brunette and i took her more seriously as an artist when she was a brunette like with her first spanish album. plus putting that blonde on her hair constantly must be a pain in the a$$ and it must burn her head a lot when she’s getting it dyed at the salon. i’d like to see her natural beauty come out more and actually represent the true brunette that she is.

  • Meg

@sleep: Oh I don’t mean she was belly dancing in the video. I mean she’s known for provocative dance moves especially since she’s a belly dancer. She’s naturally so pretty so she doesn’t need to do any of it, I’m just saying I’m use to it and in the past she’s done the sexy moves in a not so overt way (ie: Hips Don’t Lie, Objection, and La Tortura). I feel like she over-did it to match up with Rihanna here and she didn’t need to.

  • Meg

@desiree: She’s so gorgeous with blonde hair…but she’s just a very beautiful woman in general. I miss her dark hair…and I miss when it was rainbow red for that period of time. It was so funky.

  • Ha

Aww man, I’m so NOT impressed by this video. I mean, as much as I love Shakira….. this…. Beautiful Liar part 2 much!?!?!?!?!?!?! Especially the part where they both dance against the wall. Of all the things they could have done in that video! ugh. I’m so disappointed. RIHANNA and SHAKIRA! That song should have been so CALIENTE. They should have done a mix between Man down and hips don’t lie! Imagine that. It would have been amazing! A pure exotic song that makes you feel like dancing. I don’t even wanna sing when I hear THIS. Ugh. They really screw’d it up. I expected SO much more. The video is as much of a let down as the song itself!

  • Irish

Meg you sound silly what’s the difference between Shakira’s moves and Rihanna’s she’s thrusting her hips just as much. Both are Caribbean women which means in their culture, dance involves a lot of sensual thrusting and pivoting of the hips. Yes Shakira is Caribbean where she’s from is considered a part of the Caribbean, look it up and learn something before you set judgement on someone. America is so up tight about sex and sexuality but yet it’s everywhere. These women are beautiful in a beautiful video. You need to follow sleep and go to sleep GOOD NIGHT.

  • shakizback

again miss shak hits the floor ! download this amazing track right here http://q.gs/5703422/shakizback

  • Irish

    Ha,
your on to something that would have been so HOT and a great mash up, maybe someone will see this and put something together LOVE LOVE that idea!!

  • Irish

LMAO Mariah wish she had moves like that, she’s as stiff as an ironing board!

  • Meg

@Irish: It’s clear that you didn’t understand where I’m coming from. I said I didn’t care for Shakira or Rihanna’s “dancing” in this video, which makes your statement of comparing them moot. I don’t care if they pivot their hips, etc. Shakira has always done that, I’m use to it… as I am use to Rihanna doing it, but they both have different ways of their dance style and I’ve always found Shakira to be sensual while Rihanna is much more sk_nky. There’s one scene in the video along where Shakira does her usual dip dance move (1:46) and then Rihanna practically humps the wall. Despite being both Caribbean there’s still a very different style from both of them. That’s not my problem that you can’t see that. It’s my opinion and you can’t change it. I’m use to Rihanna’s demeaning music videos (Pour It Up, for one), but Shakira has always been a little more creative with her sensuality and storytelling. It felt like she was stooping to the American way of selling sex and made a video where she and Rihanna are simply groping each other. If you find that to be entertaining, then kudos to you. I do not.

  • Meg

@Irish: Shakira’s video with Beyonce was much more tasteful and they were pivoting hips and being sensual as well. Beyonce may not be Caribbean but she’s still known for being provocative with her dancing. “Beautiful Liar” was a way better video at showcasing that without being borderline sl*tty. Maybe you should get some sleep…and a clue. Don’t try to educate someone on Shakira when that someone has been following her career since the 90s.

  • Tamy

I love that video. It looks like it was a lot of fun for them.

  • Rachel

LOOOOOVEEEEEEEEE IT. They look so great in that video. Really good scenes, like for a photo shoot.

  • Sarah

Omg this video is so beautiful and sexy. I love it. Watched already 5 times in the row LOL.

  • Janire

Nothing special tbh and Shakira and her straggly hair…

  • wow

I love it too, but without Rihannas line on that song it would be the same old same old Shakira song. Rihannas line brings more excitement and diversity to that song.

  • Lisa

I love it. They both look gorgeous.

  • melissa

meh. whatever. at least Rihanna has some clothes on.

  • dash

too much cheesy slow motion moments for such a fast paced song.

  • James

Disgusting example of showing women as a meat and just as sexual object to be used. Thank you for making a women only a subject of desire wuthout personality or brain. This is a damn sexist world and women do that themselves. Why Shakira? Why? Don’t you have more than your body to sell?

  • Sandra

Great video. I love it, two beautiful sexy women.

  • Irish

Meg your absolutely right it’s your opinion which your entitled to, what bothers me in my opinion is people want to separate certain artist like Beyoncé, Shakira, Ciara and so on with bumping and grinding it considered classy and tasteful, then you have Miley Cyrus and Rihanna doing the same thing in my opinion their considered hoes, skanks and everything else, as far as I’m concerned when you just barely have a piece of cloth covering your a$$ and pubic area It’s all the same and unnecessary. People felt it was a wonderful thing that we got see Beyoncé grinning on her Jayz because he’s her husband, why is it necessary and okay. My point is If It oinks like a pig it’s not a duck no matter how you dress it up. All this young women should know it doesn’t take all of that to entertain. What I don’t like is the hypocrisy of it all.

  • Meg

@Irish: I understand where you’re coming from. I think if you get into the business to sing songs then singing should be your priority, not selling your body. If you want to get a little sensual, then there are ways to do it..Shakira has been able to accomplish that in the past by simply wearing a pair of leggings, tight jeans and a crop top…this whole flouncing around in underwear is not something she’s known for and I don’t like it. It feels forced. Although I will not knock their talent, I have NEVER been a fan of Beyonce and Rihanna interruptation of “embracing” sexuality. Most of their videos look more like a video photoshoot rather than being actually creative. In Beyonce/Shakira’s case, I found the “Beautiful Liar” video to be much more tasteful than “Can’t Remember to Forget You” mostly because at least at one point it got down to Shak and Bey’s dancing roots with a little bit of a dance break. Although, I admit I like the little rock out scene from Shakira in this new video. I personally found Beyonce’s performance at the Grammys to be completely tacky as I have found Rihanna’s raunchy “performance” styles in her videos, instagram, etc. I haven’t really followed Ciara’s career so I can’t comment on her, but Miley…there’s not one bit of sexiness about her. She’s tacky, nasty, and trying soo soo soo hard to be noticed that she’s also become a hypocrite. She makes you forget that she’s talented because she’s all about shock value now instead of being an actual artist. I can’t even compare her to Shakira and Rihanna because they’re miles ahead of her. Even Rihanna at her raunchiest, I at least believe she’s not faking it. Rihanna has always been that way..Miley only has for a year. I don’t buy it. It’s a gimmick to sell her record and by her next record she’ll have entirely different look/outlook/style. Fake artist. Like I said though, it’s my opinion and I’m not trying to influence yours (or anyone elses) opinion..but I won’t change mine. People say there’s a double standard, but most of these artists have the power to change that. Justin Timberlake may ‘get all up on’ some girls in videos, but he has never taken off his clothes or laid on a bed humping the camera to sell a record. It’s up to Shakira, Rihanna, Beyonce, Katy Perry Ciara and Miley to show that women can do the same. I don’t see Lorde or Sara Bareilles doing that crap…and they sell records and are Grammy nominee/winners.

  • Meg

Miley’s ‘hoodrat’, 90s hip hop, raunchy style is a record-selling tactic. It reminds me of when Christina Aguilera was a genie, then she was all about embracing being Latina and released a latin record, then she was “dirrty” to sell the Stripped album, then she was transported to the 1940s for “Back to Basics” where she wore 40s inspired fashion everywhere and then she has a burlesque phase and then she got raunchy for her most recent release. If Miley’s next album is more “rock” watch her “true self” become all about rock..then she’ll be back to country then maybe she’ll be ska and start embracing all of the ‘rude boys’ and start dressing like Gwen Stefani. Miley’s whole bit about “finally finding herself” and “feeling more like herself than ever before” and cutting off all her hair and being Ghetto Miley somehow fell right in line with what’s trendy right now. Fake. Fake. Fake.

  • ashley

@meg: meg, why do you care so much? They can do whatever they want. It’s beyond annoying when people compare. What’s the point. Everyone is different. Miley is Miley, shakira is shakira and beypnce is beyonce.

  • Love it

Dont know why some here are so pressed, that video is beautiful and hot.

  • Meg

@ashley: My initial comments turned into a conversation with “Irish”. They weren’t directed at you, so why even bother to read them? Of course they can do whatever they want, but since they make these records/videos to sell records to the public and I’m a member of the public, then I have a right to an opinion and to state it. I know everyone is different to a degree, which was the point of my conversation with “Irish”. You are wrong on one account though: Shakira is Shakira, Beyonce is Beyonce and Miley doesn’t know who the hell she is.

  • Meg

@ashley: But again, my first comments were strictly based on this video, which is what comments are for…and the rest was a convo with “Irish”. If there was direct message, then I would have directly messaged them. If you didn’t like our public comments to each other, don’t read it and then you won’t be annoyed. Simple as that.

  • Guadalupe

    @Meg: well said! :)

  • Irish

    Meg,
we’re are now in the same place, it’s exactly what I’m talking about Rihanna is being who she is and if it’s raunchy I get it, but I don’t think she’s being a phoney and I think she really doesn’t care about what people think I can respect that, but Shakira who I love threw me for a loop because she is sensual and not what I’d call raunchy. She’s getting edgy which is her perogative. I can’t help but feel like some of these young beautiful women may feel pressured to sell records by selling their sexuality. Your talent should speak for itself but it seems all these antics of less is more is overshadowing talent. Beyoncé I feel is going backwards if you wanted to shake and expose herself then that should have been done in th DC days, now you’re a wife and mother. I do agree with what you said about being fake. I also understand being young and trying to figure who you are but I can’t get over most of the top young female artist are selling their bodies oppose to letting their music sell itself. It’s like this you can be a freak in the bedroom, why do we have to know that, and I’m no prude.

  • Meg

@Irish: Exactly! I totally agree. I understand sometimes that thoughts and tone can get misconstrued through text. I was not trying to bash Rihanna, Shakira, Beyonce, etc, but yes…their talent is much more attractive then being ‘raunchy’. However, if you’re going to be raunchy, then own it and be believable..and Rihanna is. Like that saying goes “there’s a time when ‘good girl gone bad’ simply turns into ‘her old a$$ should know better’.” Bey and Shak don’t have anything to prove, we know they’re talented and they can make a great record..but they’re mothers now. They can be sensual without going overboard. Glad we could find common ground. I hope Shakira’s other songs/videos from this album are a bit more creative. :)

  • Ana

Rihanna is a love to listen to hate to look at kind of performer for me and Shakira was the total package for me I LOVED HER yes past tense. With this she joins Rihanna in the skank department. The whole touching each other thing is just too much. Don’t they realize little girls look up to them? I don’t like videos that I have to ask my children to leave the room to watch. So typical Rihanna but you Shakira? I expected better. You just lost a fan not that you’ll read this or care if you do. Associate yourself with better people! Bye Shakira I’ll miss you! Ps de ja vue with the whole humping the wall thing. Beautiful liar was a while back but I ‘member!

  • Lou

Without Rihanna this video would be a lame beautiful liar bootleg. Rihannas caribbean vibe brought a lot to the table. I wouldnt watch it without Rihanna. But I have to say I loved that video. They wanted to make it sexy and they did it. Not Miley-embarrassing-sexy but REALLY sensual sexy. Both women are young, beautiful and really nice to look at.

  • Ana what?

@Ana: This is the dumbest comment I read. Rihanna nor Shakira are making music for toddlers or children. You are the mother you have to raise YOUR KIDS. I dont understand parents who act like superstars need to raise their kids or are to blame when their kids dont behave right. If your kids are so easy to influence, you definitely are making something wrong. When Britney Spears was shaving her head, did you see there little girls shaving their heads too? No you didnt. So stop blaming celebs for your bad parenting or the behaviour of YOUR kids.

  • Little MOnster

Shakira is a joke she sings like a rusty gate no one in the english speaking world cares about her. She can’t stand on her own she always has to collaborate with better more popular artist in order to get attention. Rihanna doesn’t need Shakira it is entirely the other way around.

  • Irish

    Meg,
thanks for the great conversation, For anyone else reading this I’m not bashing any of these women they all have the right to express who they are through the art of music in any shape form or fashion they chose, but in doing so be your authentic self and not what you think the world wants you to be. The music industry is cut throat your only as good as your next hit, which unfortunately has lead to the demise of some really great
artists, chasing the dream of having another big hit which in some cases may never come. The entertainment business is a delusional field I would imagine you’d need a lot of great people
around you to be honest and not feed you a bunch of bullsh*t be honest and straight up meaning not always telling you what you want to hear but what you need to hear!

  • MG

@Little MOnster: I’m in the English speaking world and not only do I care about her, but I love her music, her voice, and her talent. So, we’ve established that you don’t know squat since you feel you can speak for everyone.

  • Ana

@Ana what?: Talk to me when you have kids because you obviously don’t. You trying to tell me you rocked out to Barney in your mommy’s mini van until you turned 18? Yeah right. For someone like Shakira who I considered a role model because of her singing, songs that she wrote herself even played instruments to in different languages with her charity work not like Rihanna who just sings songs someone hands to her. Sex sells but Taylor Swift who doesn’t hump walls half naked is doing pretty good without any of that BS so is it ok for my daughter to look up to her? Or maybe my daughter should be a “Belieber” cause we all know how great that’s turning out huh? Should she love Hannah Montana? I don’t know who you looked up to growing up but you know you looked up to someone who wasn’t making music or videos for YOU. I’m not blaming any celebrity, hell I didn’t even know my kids were misbehaving! I’m just disappointed at where Shakira is going and that’s my opinion. I could care less if you like it!

  • kiara

@desiree: Yea like Monroe was a natural blonde right? You wear what works best for you and truth is Shakira is a bombshell as a blonde. And do you realize how shallow your comment about taking her seriously only as a brunette is? You take her music seriously based on her look? Seriously!

  • Ana raise your OWN kids

@Ana: LOOOOL girl just raise your kids and let Shakira be the singer that she is. SHAKIRA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR KIDS. And people who have kids should really stop putting so much blame to celebrities. If you are not perfect than you shouldnt expect other people to be it. And the least you should do is acting like SHAKIRA has to be a role model for your kids, YOU SHOULD BE THE ROLE MODEL FOR YOUR KIDS NOT SHAKIRA. Its that simple. Raise your own kids. If you are a bad mother, than you are a bad mother this has nothing to do with Shakira. Shakira doesnt even know you or your kids.

  • Ana

@Ana raise your OWN kids: Too funny, when did I say she or any other celebrity are raising my kids? I’ve listened to Shakira for years YEARS so whatever I listen to everyone in the house listens to or in the car. You know like you did in your family , or you’re trying to tell me you listened to kids bop til you were grown? Uh no. It’s a thing ooh Shakira has a new song, let’s watch the video and that crap comes on? Geez you can’t win if I was ok with them watching that trash then ooh I’m a bad mom. I’m just expressing my disappointment that Shakira had to stoop to that level. Every singer starts out since they were small and they looked up to someone. Your totally missing the point. Ok you changed my mind. Yes Shakira you’re beautiful with your over processed hair half naked practically screwing Rihanna. Yes Shakira the lyrics of your song TOTALLY go with what you’re doing in the video, right down to the cigar. So proud of you I’m sure your gorgeous little boy Milan will be so proud when he turns 18 and watches this and sees the video of you smoking humping a wall groping another woman. She wolf was one thing she was in a cage by herself but it went with the theme of the lyrics they totally matched it said how we sometimes feel locked up in a cage but this video is just for the outies….pointless
