Axe Peace Super Bowl Commercial 2014 (Video) - Make Love Not War!

One of the surprisingly poignant commercials that aired during the 2014 Super Bowl was courtesy of AXE Peace body spray.

“In a world filled with war, the greatest weapon is love. Make love, not war with new AXE Peace,” the caption for the video read along with the hashtag #KissForPeace.

The commercial depicts things happening around the world that seem to be dangerous, such as armed forces preparing their weapons for war, but then everything suddenly turns into peacefulness. This was such a powerful commercial!

    Worst commercial ever. Very offensive as a veteran to see a US Solider drop his weapon in the mud to hug a commie.

    @Harrisburg1165:
    As a current US military soldier and veteran, I cannot disagree with you more.
    “The soldier above all others prays for peace, for it is the soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.’ – Douglas MacArthur

    Harrisburg1165 Says:

    The soldier prays for peace, but prepares for war. You don’t understand MacArthur at all. You think MacArthur would have given up his weapons to embrace the Japanese? Hell no. He fought for peace. Take you REMF butt back to your hippie loving commune and drop to your knees for a member of Al-Qaeda.

    Based on more than half of the comments here which were negative…shows how un-evolved so many people are..this is why this planet is doomed a bunch of neanderthals and narrow minded thinkers..this commercial is fabulous..the very best of the all of the commercials I hope Unilever runs it over and over in Times Square everyone needs to see this commercial (globally) many times, and get the message sunk in their heads

    @harrisburg1165, amuses me to hear that you’re a veteran. veteran troll more like. you’re a disgrace to all veterans out there and to the human race in general. grow up and understand that you racism-promoting warmonger.

    This commercial bugged me. They are promoting a great concept, in a political climate where yearning for that concept is at an all time high in the west, to sell body spray. Simply put, it reeks way too much of being disingenuous. Axe body spray doesn’t give a **** about “making love, not war.” They just want your money.
