Philip Seymour Hoffman Death - Family Releases Statement

Philip Seymour Hoffman‘s untimely death has shocked the world and now his family has released a statement thanking his fans for their support during this difficult time.

“We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Phil and appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from everyone,” the statement read. “This is a tragic and sudden loss and we ask that you respect our privacy during this time of grieving. Please keep Phil in your thoughts and prayers.”

The family will not be making any further statements at this time.

Philip is survived by his partner of 15 years Mimi O’Donnell and their three kids – 10-year-old son Cooper Alexander, seven-year-old daughter Tallulah, and five-year-old daughter Willa.

We continue to send out our thoughts and prayers to Philip‘s loved ones at this time.

    Mental illness and austism is on the rise for sure. But it is soooo taboo to mention that it is related to pot/marijuana/ and what some qualify as “soft and innocent” relaxing drugs.
    Nice perspective for the future kids in this country.

This is more hysterical ranting and scare tactics that every moron trots out whenever the subject of drugs and/or vaccines come up. These things are just apparent now because doctors know what they are. In the past, any mental affliction was simply explained away as being “crazy” or “retarded”, or worse, the person was simply put away. They existed before doctors could put a name to them.

    And please, enough with the “Drugs are rampant these days”. Did you not know that cocaine and heroin were actually sold in OTC medicines in the early 20th century? By your logic, all these afflictions should have been apparent centuries ago because drug abuse is not a 21st century invention. Read a book. Seriously.
