Woman Quits Job for GoDaddy Super Bowl Commercial 2014 (Video)

A woman named Gwen Dean quit her job to pursue her dream of being a puppet master during the GoDaddy commercial that aired during the 2014 Super Bowl on Sunday (February 2).

The actor John Turturro sat beside her and said that Gwen‘s boss was at home watching the game and this would be the first time he would hear she is quitting her job.

Gwen registered a domain name, got a website, and turned her dream into a real business with the help of GoDaddy’s service.

Awesome! I just saw this commercial. I thought wow, she’s gonna get some major traffic to help her with her new career. I love to see people go all in and follow their dreams instead of just settle for a JOB.

Why would anyone immolate their bridges like this?

Agreed… Unless her boss was some monster who horribly mistreated her – no one who has been paying your mortgage, car payment, or feeding your family deserves THAT kind of callous disrespect !!! I wouldn’t hire or engage this woman’s new business just because of her total lack of character (again, assuming her boss was NOT a monster)…
