'Michael J. Fox' Show Canceled By NBC, Will Finish Season

NBC has canceled The Michael J. Fox Show after less than one season on the air, according to Vulture.

The show will be pulled from the Thursday night schedule and replaced with episodes of Hollywood Game Night.

The news comes after it was announced that Sean Saves the World was shutting down production and got canceled as well. Both shows were pulling in just around 3 million viewers in recent weeks.

The Michael J. Fox Show was given a 22 episode order before the series even started, so production will continue and it is likely that episodes will return on the network at some point.

It is sad, the dynamics of the children were funny but I can see how some of the episodes wouldnt be pulling people in to watch.

Well I never watched the show but I’m still sad for Michael. I root for the guy and don’t like it when he gets bad news. I hope he gets another job soon.

What I hate about NBC is that they green light shows very easily but cancel them even easier, if that makes sense? Like 95% of their shows get cancelled which sucks because they had good shows like Whitney and Smash. I think that if an actor or actress wanted a successful show they should go to other networks like FOX and CBS or CW. NBC gives every show a chance but as soon as they are have low ratings for a couple of episodes then BOOM they get cancelled. Also their marketing team sucks hence why people forget when their shows get back on.

I watched the first 2 episodes. I thought they were HORRIBLE, so I’m not surprised the series is getting pulled. There was absolutely no chemistry between the actors and the writing was very juvenile. I’m surprised it’s lasted this long.

I like MJF and it’s sad to see him struggle with his affliction. On the other hand, it seems that the producers may have taken advantage of this to promote his popularity.

Why all the good shows be taken Off ? And Hart of Dixie keep showing? It don’t have that much are a rating either and they keep on showing it. Jared I hope you show when hart of Dixie get canceled . You hide everything else about Rachel and what she does.

I think MJF is great as usual, but the rest of the cast has very little chemistry either with Michael or with each other. The lady who plays his wife should definitely be replaced, as well as the slug do nothing son.
