Emma Watson and her pal leave a grocery store with a single pack of bacon in hand on Friday (February 7) in London, England.

The 23-year-old actress just recently covered Wonderland magazine’s latest issue – check it out!

Emma has just signed on to star in the upcoming thriller Regression, also starring Ethan Hawke, Variety reports. Alejandro Amenabar wrote the screenplay and will direct the film.

i’ve always been her fan, but i’ve been hearing stories.. why isn’t she even at school? i thought she was supposed to be graduating last year and she didn’t. now she is registered at NYU and she’s never there

She is in school. Emma just stated in Wonderland Magazine that she is graduating in May. It is very common for students to take more than four years to graduate, students who aren’t also promoting a worldwide blockbuster and filming other movies at the same time. 5 years for an undergraduate degree while working is very normal. She also was only enrolled at NYU for one class a year ago, so there is no reason for her to be there now.

@charlotte: she is graduating from Brown this summer so don’t know what stories you have been reading.

Um, no she said last year she was going back to Brown to finish her degree but never did. My friend’s daughter Margaret was in the same freshman class as Brown but Margaret has already graduated and is in medical school.

Why is it that Natalie Portman, Jodie Foster and Brooke Shields all managed to graduate from Harvard; Yale and Princeton with honors in four years AND do movies at the same time but Watson can’t get it together to finish her degree. All of her classmates have graduated.

She’s never going to be a big big star and frankly she seems a bit loss and at sea. Where are her parents in all of this? Is she getting any guidance from anyone?

@Aron: No she said she had re-registered with Brown and was supposed to graduate last year. Only she never turned up on campus…..

@talia: Do you have a link where it says she will be graduating from Brown this summer? She hasn’t returned to campus.

@Aron: Taking five years to graduate wasn’t normal for Natalie Portman who managed to graduate with honors from Harvard in four years AND do movies, including the Star Wars movie.

This person always writes the same comments about Emma, Natalie Portman and bla bla bla, so predictable Zzzz.

Emma will graduate in May.. and if she were my daughter I’d be proud of her.

@Reasons to be cheerful:

Is you friend’s dauther Margaret a succesful actress that filmed at least 4 movies (one being Aronofsky’s first blockbuster) and then promoted these films? No?Then don’t compare the two…
Everytime you talk about Margaret but here’s the truth…Margaret leads a normal life.Something that Emma does not have!
Portma’s part in Star Wars, just like the movie, was laughable and she was not even the lead.Emma was very pivotal in HP,TBR,Perks and now Aronofsky’s Noah!
As for whether she will become a star or not…I trust Aronofsky,Coppola,Del Toro,Amenabar and Chbosky’s judgment more than yours. All these recognized directors OFFERED her a part in their movies (Especially Aronofsky. He offered her a part of Ila,a very challenging and difficult role, after he watched Perks and guess what…early buzz suggests that Emma steals every scene she is and ultimately the entrie movie)!

And she is graduating this May from Brown.

No.7,8,9,10; Hopefully, Emma Watson will finally wake up and realize that a B.S. Arts degree from Brown is nothing but a big wad of brown stained toilet paper.

No.6; You are probably right. But one can always hope that Emma finally took a clue from Sandra Bullock and Dan Akroid and dropped out of college before they got their hooks into her.

No.11 at 5:59; As an older guy who likes underaged girls, like for example Bill Murray, I totally get how you feel.

ya’ll always with the same argument, this is so annoying!

@Reasons to be cheerfulhttp://www.mtv.co.uk/emma-watson/news/emma-watson-turning-down-movie-roles-to-study. And she also said during an interview at golden globes that she has been busy studying since she finished promoting her last movie the bling ring.

You know, you CAN take independente studies that don’t require you to actually be on campus. They are either online courses or a massive research paper you do on your own. As for graduating in 4 years, it took me 5 years to get my degree and I never failed a class.

Emma is so A W E S O M E , she will win Oscar soon.
